Houseparty @3Bhk(gatedsociety)

Hey guys, my flatmate and I recently moved into a new 3BHK near Neotown road and we're looking to host our first house party to meet some new people in the area.

We're both guys in tech, so we're hoping to connect with similar folks. We want to keep it super chill and conversational, so we're only looking to invite about 4 to 5 people max.

The plan is to make some chicken biryani for everyone (honestly, if you actually know how to cook, that's a huge plus for us lol). For drinks, it's just BYOB, so bring whatever you're in the mood for.

If you're down to hang out, eat some good food, and talk tech, just shoot me a DM with a bit about yourself and I'll share the exact address!

Trip to Kerala(Aug Second)

Hi Everyone,

After moving to electronic city Bangalore for IT work purposes, I'm returning back to Kerala for my leave next august second week(6th).

I have booked the train from SBC to Kerala, I believe metro is the best option to reach on time from EC.

Also I 'm open to any suggestions for shopping, travelling and what all things to do prior to the trip.

Hosting WC final at PG

Anyone down to watch the World Cup Final Spain vs Argentina together? (Electronic City)

Hey guys, the final is coming up and I’m hosting a small watch party in my PG single room near Shantipura, Electronic City Phase 2

Super chill vibe — just good football, some snacks and we’ll bring our own drinks (BYOB). Since it’s a single room I can only take max 4-5 people total.

If you’re in the area and actually interested, just DM me. Mention where you’re coming from and I’ll confirm.

Let’s enjoy the match properly! ⚽🇪🇸 vs 🇦🇷

RE Himalayan came by train

I would like to share my experience unloading my RE Himalyan(411cc) for the first time at Bengaluru - SMVT Railway station packed from Kerala

The petrol pumps near the railway station do not provide petrol in cans or bottles, so it is recommended to bring another vehicle to get petrol and refill at the station easily or we we will get charged additional from the unloading staffs. If you're lucky enough to find another person having the petrol.

Initially, the station server was down, delaying the process until I showed the invoice bill which was attached along in the bike to the station master. A staff member then charged me ₹100 for unloading, which was unnecessary as I could have done it myself, including the mirror fittings.

The keys had trouble inserting properly on ignition and petrol tank, despite trying with  some few drops of petrol, it did not resolve the issue. Ignition worked somehow but it still had fuel tank opening issue, prompting a visit to a nearby workshop where they also struggled to help and tried several times with same result.

Afterwards, I attempted to use the royal enfield Himalayan bike Roadside Assistance . Within 30 minutes, a mechanic arrived and suggested purchasing parachute oil, which resolved the issue smoothly.

Next, I needed to refuel, but the autos on the road were not willing to assist or were charging high prices. A local offered to help, requesting 70₹ worth of petrol in return.

Forp my way back to electronic city, despite not knowing the exact location and lacking a mobile stand holder.

I purchased a holder from a nearby bike workshop, where I also engaged with the repairman who specialized in 2stroke engines. This piqued my interest as I had experience with 2stroke engines in the past.

After navigating back to EC and grabbing a bite to eat, I reflected on the valuable lessons learned from the day's challenges. I wanted to share my experience and insights. Have a wonderful weekend
