I am in Canada on a TRV while my husband recently got his PR. We got married in February.

We wish to apply for a Spousal Sponsorship but are confused what route to take, Inland or Outland? Our research shows us that Inland Applications impose some travel restrictions for long travels, but it gives us an option to apply for a OWP which is important to us.

For Outland Sponsorship, it shows that we can travel freely but getting a OWP won't be possible. Also, where will the biometrics and other parts of the process take place? Will it be outside Canada since the application is Outland or there is no such restriction?

Looking forward for some information based on personal experiences, please.
