Just now my krita crashed and the current drawing I had didn't save, nor autosave which made my progress reset to what I had yesterday. I was about to flip out because my progress today had made yesterdays work almost unrecognizable, so I almost cried especially when I opened krita again and it didn't give me that "would you like to open this autosave" file thingy.

I searched up what to do to no avail, (So I'm hoping this can save any other fellow kriters out there!!!) but initally support told me to restart my device which I DIDN'T DO!! because I thought that should've been saved for last minute. (Thinking back, this might've(?) worked but my case was a little different because my AUTOSAVE didn't SAVE)

I opened krita, no autosave, even checked .kra and .kra~ files and it wasn't there. Only showed work + autosaves from yesterday. Decided to check krita app, only those 2 files were available. Was gonna give up, searched google and it said something about app data. I went into file explorer typed "%TEMP%" and BOOM, I found atleast 100 autosaves of my work from just 10 minutes before :')

Now heres the hard part. I opened one, krita launched it. Was about to click save as, but it didn't work. Exporting, saving, copy and pasting the layers onto another file didn't work. Krita itself then stopped working, so I was stuck on an unmovable file that couldn't be deleted or saved. I decided to close my device then and there, but krita stopped working altogether. Couldn't launch it, open it, run as administrator, I almost thought I cooked myself again but I still had the 100+ autosaves from explorer. I wasn't able to open any of them anymore though because Krita flanked on me, but I was still able to send it somewhere else. So i sent atleast 5 file pdf copies to discord, and another to my bluetooth just in case.

I then restarted my device to get krita working again, and when I opened it all of my 100+ secret autosaves were gone... EXCEPT THE ONES I SAVED ONTO DISCORD!!! Quickly opened those with krita and whazaam my progress was back like it never left. Took like 15 minutes altogether and a couple of close calls, but gosh I am so glad I didn't panick and immediately throw away all of that work!!!

This is my first time coming back to drawing after a few months, so admittedly I forgot to regularly save every 15ish minutes and just drew for about 4 hours with a lot of breaks inbetween. It also probably didn't help I had like 10+ tabs open, and krita only crashed when I started playing lana del rey 😭

Is there anything we can do? My grandma was gardening outside today in our front lawn around 6pm, when a car pulled up. Three hispanic ladies came out trying to give her free jewelry I assume, but she refused and continued gardening. One of the ladies then slid a necklace on her, and while my grandma rushed them to take it off, we think they also took off the one she was already wearing.

She realized this at 9pm, during showering when she wasn't able to find her gold necklace anywhere. She also told us right now what happened at 6pm, so everything is happening really fast. We don't have cameras outside our house, and everyone was inside in our rooms doing our own stuff at 6. Is there literally anything we can do? It was a jade necklace from China so it means a lot to my grandma, but no one was looking outside at 6 today.

Don't care if I get downvoted because I swear people try to push their luck so much when it comes to holds. I recently put up some new merch I was selling and Immediately I got like 3 people asking if I could hold the item.

Now I don't usually do holds, but I decided to accept one buyer who asked me for one day. Long story short; They didn't buy it. And now I'm thinking if I should relist the item because theres already 80+ new listings in this search, so I practically lost a lot of insight from that one inconvience.

This also isn't my first ordeal with holds. I've done about five, and honestly all of them were soo over the top. A buyer's card kept declining after our agreed upon 5 days, and then they ghosted me because there was no way for them to pay. Another one asked for a week, so I mesaged them after that time asking if they were still gonna buy. They literally replied with "Oh I didn't know we were still doing this" and only bought after my reminder. On another item, I accepted a hold for a plushie that mind you, hasn't got any new likes in like 3 months. Even if I didn't place a "hold" on it, no one probably would've taken it.

I don't understand why people are so scared that somethings gonna sell out, and then proceed to HOG it until they get buyers remorse because?? literally if you're not gonna buy don't pretend to buy?? Of course it's always nice when a hold does go well, but even then you'd be missing out on much faster sales. At this point, I think I'll be editing my selectively blank bio just to put no holds.

Are you supposed to use net ID? A different username?? Hunter username?? Man js let me access my stuff bro
