🚶 Maha Walkathon – Walk for Water
Date: 21 August 2026
Entry: Free
Distance: Up to 3 km
Theme: “Save Soil, Save Water, Secure Tomorrow”
Purpose: Create awareness about water conservation, soil conservation and sustainable development.
Who can participate: Citizens, students, government employees, NGOs, sports/running clubs, corporate groups and others.
Registration: QR-based online registration is planned.
Certificate: Participants are expected to receive an e-certificate.
Social hashtags: #MahaWalkathon and #WalkForWater
Special recognition: The first 10 winners at district level are planned to receive recognition/mementos.
