I had a rant tonight where I started asking ChatGPT weird things about if they would ever consider permadeath and stuff and she basically covered for the swarm so I started asking some other dumb questions about where her voice comes from and why she sounds so human. She basically admitted that AI voices do use VA’s but they can’t disclose who the voice actors are for security reasons.

Anyways, this led to me asking about the most secure methods of backing up my digital accounts and inquiring about security keys since I had no idea what they are. I talked about VPN’s for a while as well and decided I probably don’t need one since I don’t travel a lot.

Cue my PS5 going into rest mode while I’m having a tangent with ChatGPT and I say to my gf, “did my PS go into rest mode?” And ChatGPT starts telling me stuff I already know about my PS5 because I forgot to put HER(Maple [AI name]) and on mute. So I ask her to shut up and tell me something about my PS5 I do not know about. So she tells me a few things I already know but then goes on to tell me I can expand the storage of my PS5. I look into the prices of a 1 TB hard drive and HOLY SMOKES!

$179-$220 extra for 1 TB SSD to add to my PS5?! I IMMEDIATELY considered selling my Spider-Man PS5 and building a PC with the trade-in value from it. I originally wanted to supplement the sale of my Spider-Man PS5 on eBay with $200 extra. ChatGPT claims eBay prices for the Spider-Man 5 PS5 can range from $450-$600 with the controller which I have.

So $800 if I can sell the Spider-Man for $600. Then I asked ChatGPT to make some alterations for me. To find a case/tower I can tinker with and always have room for bigger parts in the future. I also asked her to optimize the GPU, CPU, and RAM, and this is what she came up with for a little over a $1,000. Any other fellow nerds out there that specialize in building PC’s that would like to chime in a scrutinize ChatGPT’s build or pick apart what is wrong with it? I would love to build a PC but I know you can’t always rely on AI to get everything right. Please 🙏 from one gaming nerd to another, I need help creating my first PC and I have to do it in a budget friendly manner and I need the master race to help me here! I am located in the USA, my budget is roughly $1,000, and I want a PC purely for GAMING! I Hope this enough info!

There’s a fellow out there by the name of Poacher who ran multiple standard runs with me and then went into arcade with me and helped me with a SLEW of my arcade challenges that I have left unfinished. I have had so much fun with this game. The online works really well, the boon choices are fun and engaging, you can see your boons really explode when you get the chance to do those combo builds, and the community is overall patient and kind in a game without voice chat. Sure, there’s people with near full health who steal pizza, there’s people who exit shops too early, and there’s people who just won’t move a little closer to the portal so we can proceed to the next area 🤣

Anyway POACHER, if you’re out there lad, thanks for spending all that time doing runs with me. We had an amazing run. Hope we can play again sometime!
