Managed to get to 32 photos today before the 33rd corrupted halfway and the 34th was fully corrupted this time ๐ But I did get 6 shots I quite like in the light fog we had! 1 to 3 are with the stock analog filter, 4 to 6 are with Kino.
Somehow managed to get by with my problematic CS2 by shooting 20 pics or less before formatting (I might be able to get to 30 but I'm not taking any chances lol, I prefer treating it as a film camera until I get the replacement). Pics 1 and 2 are with the Zeus filter from Camper Snapper, while 3 to 5 are with the stock analog filter.
5 shots I like enough out of 20 isn't a bad ratio ๐
Not so much troubleshooting as much as sharing that I've had issues with this camera too, even after taking all necessary precautions.
I've received my CS2 yesterday, took it out for a spin once I put a Sandisk microSD card in it (32gb, always been a reliable one), and after about 20 shots it corrupted part of a photo, then every single photo after that is fully unreadable. I've reformatted it just in case, but it did it again this morning. Luckily, I was just doing my usual walk and the weather wasn't fantastically unique or anything, but let's just say I would have liked those 150-ish photos (test shots in a variety of contexts, nothing I'd print, but still) to be viable.
I've contacted support this morning, we'll see how that goes. Last time I contacted them for my 105 that drained the battery very quickly, they ghosted me after one reply.
Fingers crossed that it'll be better this time.
EDIT: Customer support replied very quickly and are sending a replacement once they confirmed that my camera is indeed problematic. Fingers crossed that this one will work beautifully!
Acros (Red filter) + weak-small grain, all in film camera mode (72 shots). We've had a very humid summer, which is gross, but lately we're dipping between 10 to 15ยฐC at night, which creates one of my absolute favorite weather: fog. Waking up at 5am to run out into it with my dog (and coming home three hours later already tired from going up massive slopes on the way back) is very much worth it. 10/10 would recommend if you happen to have chances of fog where you are.
Light Leak + weak-small grain. Obviously the really nice fog only rolled in after I got home and I didn't have time to go out again... but oh well.
Took several pictures for this challenge, first because I love the Light Leak filter, and second because it was such a nice morning, and the perfect weather for a nice, long walk.
Mixing two of my hobbies: photography and crochet ๐งถ๐ท
The Obijoyi Mini-U (pic of the camera itself in the comments, for those who don't know it) is such a cute camera. When I pull it out, I always get a "no way, is that a camera??" if there are witnesses ๐ It also has this very soft, very dreamy look I quite like. It does tend to shoot with a cold WB though in the fog especially, so I end up using the sepia filter a lot.
Forced myself to only use the Dusk filter on the HJD-02 (everyone calls it the Vetek but yeah, this one is a generic version) this morning, which uh... resulted in an apocalyptic look ๐ It was just regular ol' fog, but this made it look like the world is ending.
Nostalgic Neg, weak-small grain. Not my best shot by far but I still love it ๐
Honestly, this is one of the first things I think about if asked to think of something yellow. They have the best branding and I really need a "chair for sitting" no name camping chair.
Taken since June 7th with this kitty camera and its grand ol' 2mpx resolution, either with the standard/no filter or the sepia filter. The macro pics were taken with a clip-on phone lens that I just held in front of the camera.
I've been keeping this little guy clipped to my main bag and I just... pull it out for one photo once in a while. So I've been able to get a shot here and there in various conditions!
Expired Film (Neutral) with weak-small grain.
That being said, why are all my hobbies expensive ๐
I've been neglecting this little guy lately! But I forced myself to bring nothing else with me today, so here we are. Pretty sure there was no filter for 1, 2-3 were probably with the one I call "desaturated retro" (9 arrow presses down), and the rest with "regular retro" (6 down).
Kitsu went to the groomer for the first time today! Look at her posing and showing off that her fur pants are now much fluffier ๐ I'm so glad she still looks like herself though, I've read so many horror stories about kees getting, ah... disfigured, I'd dare say.
Filter is Warm Colors!
Vetek, slash generic HJD-02. It was a very cloudy, wants-to-get-stormy sort of day, and a rare one below 30ยฐC lately. Color shots are with Ins1977 and monochrome shots are with Retro.
Had some fun in the very early morning with the HJD-02! We've been climbing in the high 30s for a few days in a row now, and otherwise it's been raining or not windy enough to keep mosquitoes at bay. The worst kind of summer for me and I already dislike summer ๐ But the light was low and gorgeous.
Okay, so these weren't the perfect conditions for the generic Vetek, but I think I made it work with a lot of expose-recompose (hence the blur in some shots). Considering that I was up at 4:30am for this, I was hoping the fog would get thicker, but oh well.
Apologies for often shooting the same spots, my neighborhood is as boring as they get ๐ That and the woods are currently infested with swarms of bloodthirsty mosquitoes, so I try to avoid these as much as possible.
That's the sort of thing I wouldn't do with my more expensive cameras unless they're the weather resistant ones ๐ But the G10 is small enough to easily shoot with one hand while I hold my umbrella in the other, and the rotating lens module was handy for that massive puddle lol
Featuring my yard, overgrown with weeds because it's been raining almost everyday lately, which doesn't exactly make me want to do any yard maintenance xD
All shots SOOC using the Warm Colors filter.
