So... The Israeli Ambassador had visired the University and Naga...

At dito nag-lalabasan ang mga purists and kulang sa pag-intindi how the world really works in the first place.

I mean sure, Free Palestine and yet hindi lang silang dalawa ang nag-enable dito. Did you know that Big Tech Companies like Google, Planatir and OpenAI are also enablers in this one? Yung mraming pera at inpluensya na gustong i-undermine ang demokrasya? Bueños, look beyond those two, niloloko lang kayo ng mga algorithm sa Social Media para ma-"feel" niyo na kayoy parte ng isang movement na walang tangible na results.

Nope. Another one of those Performative Activism. Walang pinag-kaiba sa mga korporasyon na pumapalit ng logo to LGBT each time na Pride Month.

What if, Cory Aquino, right after elected President, decide to commit "Class Betrayal" against her own Hacinderos, by allying herself with the emerging Productive Elite (e.g. Gokongwei, the Caktiongs and the MSMEs), by taxing the Land itself and retaining Nat. Monopolies as State-owned?

So, Pax Silica...

Theres a recent development going on in the Philippines, where Western Coalitions wanted to build a factory hub of Silicons where the National Government will be relocated, in New Clark City, Tarlac, claiming that this is to counter the geopolitical balance of global power. Many posts on Facebook were concerned about the environment yada yada yada.

I think this is one case why the revision of RPVARA (Real Property Valuation and Assessment Reform Act) or RA 12001 is very important in this context, because from what I've read, the taxation is based on the 20-50 percent of the total market value depending on what type of land it is, which is absurd. For example, if I have a home in Forbes Park in Makati, it costs P1.5B, at 20 percent, the value is only P300B. Depending on the LGU, they can charge P3M to P18M per year.

But in the Philippines, it is dominated by the Landlords and only a handful of Industrialists.

How is it related to Pax Silica? Its a foreign-led coalition, where they fact as a neo-colonial extraction while the Philippines suffers from five centuries of Colonial Oppression and Extraction instead of Industrialization.

Some Random thought of mine.

What if Andres Bonifacio, being a voracious Book Reader suddenly stumbled upon Economics Books like: Wealth of Nations and Progress and Poverty where he read it in more detail?

...to specify, he used his knowledge not to eliminate the Elite but negotiating with them by: reducing their import tariffs on heavy machinery and breaking up Friar Haciendas for more farming cooperatives, in exchange of implementing Land taxes.

Unpopular Opinion: The "Buggy" Traffic AI in Cities Skylines 2 is a Great Feature, it only needs an Additional Feature/DLC called Driving School and Enhanced Police Traffic Monitoring to Fix the Road Traffic

Okay. So this is based on my observation on some of the posts here and IRL. For disclosure, I live in the Philippines where traffic rules are as chaotic as the bureaucracy here, where for starters, the "One Way" Street suddenly becomes Two Way when lets say a Motorcycle suddenly appeared on the road shoulder, or a car swerved two or more lanes to exit a highway. We call it "Kamote Drivers".

This is where a Driving School is useful in this case. Lets say an Educated Cim goes to classes to learn how to drive properly and will take them 3-6 in-game months to improve their traffic AI in roads. It should be treated the same as a Standard School but specialized in improving AI Traffic.

Just some random thought of mine.

No amount of Good Governance can resolve the root cause of the problem, which is Fragmented Institutions

To put into perspective, lets look at ValueJet Flight 592. Even though the plane is controlled by Veteran Pilots, as soon as the fire takes hold at the cargo hold, its only a matter of time before everyone on board the plane was killed.

What does this mean, the Veteran Pilots were the Good Governance, and the Plane, Procedures in Freight Management etc. were the Institutions. We all love/hate Leni, Vico, Brocka, Roco etc., but have we looked the core structural issue? Our Bureaucracy is severely fragmented where one proof of these is letting private corporations like SMC, Aboitz, Ayala etc., manage our critical infrastructure instead of the Government managing it. Another example is Corruption, as demonstrated in the Flood Control Scandals, Structural Collapses etc.

And thats the reason why Asian Tigers experienced Economic Miracles, because they improve their overall bureaucracy for several decades (ironically Japan did the Lenten Season dueing the Meiji Restoration (1868-1905) but spanned through decades).

So what does this mean for the upcoming elections? We need to look beyond Good Governance and ask the hard AND boring questions? Even though Blockchain helps, just like the Pilots from Flight 592, these cant help the Fragmented Institutions.

P.S. I am not advocating for Dictatorship but we need to look the root cause.

What if, Jose Rizal despite his disgust on American racism, decides to stay longer in America anyway, discovered Progress and Poverty, met with Henry George and exchange ideas, thoughts and grievances for several months, as well as for him to discover the work of Adam Smiths Wealth of Nations?

Because in real history, Rizal went to NY for several days, while at the same time, Henry George's Progress and Poverty took the world by storm that Jose Rizal would probably pick up his book, and meet with him.

Kasi in real history, Rizal went to NY for several days, while at the same time, Henry George ran for Mayor and a popular economic philosopher who published the Book: Progress and Poverty.
