Hi all! Moving to LA in a few weeks and know nothing about it (good areas to live, places to eat, things to do, where young adults hang out, etc). I’m 27M, Asian, and I’m pretty active (volleyball, pickleball, snowboarding, etc), and I also enjoy going out occasionally. Anyone have a good rundown of different areas and what they offer in terms of vibes, activities, and people? Or where I can find a community of similar people and make friends? Any help is appreciated!

Hello, I recently got a job as an engineer in Los Angeles (yay!) and I have to move in about 3 weeks. However, I have a felony on my background, so would anyone know of houses, living spaces, or apartments that I could apply to live at that accepts felons? And yes, my job is aware of my background too and accepted me.

Ideally this place would be close to downtown LA or Santa Monica area since that’s where I’ll be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, I am super new but I’ve been struggling to set up my account. Is there any way to adjust my profile pic on mobile? I can’t seem to move the circle to the area I want in the picture, so that weeded out many of the pics I originally wanted to use. For example, I wanted to use a picture, but the part I wanted as the pfp was in the upper portion, so when I set it, you can’t even see it. I tried moving it around but it didn’t work. I just wanted to double check this is intentional or if I just need to restart the app, etc
