What are some great resources, methods, or exercises to introduce systems thinking to kids?

I’m looking for way to encourage my kids (still in the early single digit range) to begin thinking in a way that they can recognize, understand, operate, and/or build systems.

Newly pregnant: what supplements should I stop, start, continue?

For context, current stack:
Vitamin D
Vitamin B complex
Vitamin C (as pointless as that is, it’s a habit)
Magnesium glycinate
Creatine
Ubiquinol
Folic acid
L-cysteine
L-Theanine

Is this fixable - or is it a major worry?

For context, this is the facade of a townhouse for sale I visited with my brother (the prospective buyer). The property was originally built in the early 1900. I don’t have any other information about other work done on the brickwork.

Replacement Woom 3 problem: Brake pad stuck and front wheel not spinning. Brake or wheel issue?

Some context: I posted recently about my first Woom 3 that arrived missing a steering limiter. Not critical to the learning experience, but at this price point I wasn't letting it slide. Customer service was excellent - immediate replacement sent out with prepaid return label.

The replacement bike has a more serious problem. The front brake pad appears stuck to the rim, with the arm showing no movement when squeezed. More concerning: the wheel slows and stops at the same point every rotation, suggesting either a warped rim or a brake dragging at a fixed spot - or both.

Has anyone seen this before? Is it a brake issue, a wheel issue, or both?

How do I deal with a building full of off-leash dog owners?

There is an apartment building on my street from which several residents (4 counted so far) walk their dogs in the neighborhood off-leash. They go to the coffee shop nearby, walk to the dog park nearby, or whatever else. Just this morning I saw a father with his young child and a collar-less off-leash large dog return to that building - both his hands carrying coffees. These are all medium to large dogs.

WOOM 3 owners: Does this part of the bike where the steering limiter should be look normal?

I wanted to attach the steering limiter on my kid's bike but it looks like it's missing or faulty. I didn't get any other pieces in the box - just the strap already attached to the frame and nothing on the fork. I've searched online but couldn't find an image of this part before setup. I've contacted Woom but still waiting for their response.

Obviously, it’s a rule - dogs are not allowed in NYC playgrounds under any circumstance. But it’s so prevalent that I’m wondering if it’s just widely accepted.
