Jurassic World Survival “Frenzy Pack” Ferrodraco mini review

The Jurassic World Survival “Frenzy Pack” Ferrodraco is a mix of highs and lows. The sculpt is one of Mattel’s best small pterosaurs yet. It has excellent feathering, and standout wing and tail designs that feel fresh. Articulation is also a return to form, bringing back the neck movement that was missing in recent pterosaurs. While the overall coloration is great, especially on the wings, the lack of tooth paint is completely unforgivable. My figure also suffers from a slightly offset jaw, which is an unfortunate quality control issue. This is one I’d love to see given a second chance later, because the underlying sculpt truly deserves better. As always, you can check out my in-depth review on my Facebook and Instagram pages.

Jurassic World Survival Ultimate Damage Allosaurus

The new Jurassic World Survival “Ultimate Damage” Allosaurus stands out as one of Mattel’s more unique and visually interesting takes on the species. With its crisp scale detail and nods to the Jurassic World Evolution Allosaurus, the sculpt is a clear improvement over the last mainline Allosaurus. The smaller size and some odd design choices do hold it back a bit, but there is nothing egregiously bad here.
The play features are a big win and add a lot of appeal. the glowing “damage” feature is especially good. While the paint job is solid, it misses in a few aspects, such as the unpainted claws.
It’s not perfect, but it’s one of my favorite entries in the Survival line so far, and an awesome Allo! As always, you can check out my in-depth review on my Facebook and Instagram pages.
