New to CampSnap

Playing around with the new version, I got the orange 🍊 I come from a film and DSLR knowledge base to going back to basics and blind shooting has been fun! Definitely puts my head back in to the street photography side of things.

Any tips for blown highlights? Does this thing have any sort of metering going on inside?

I'm going to pick up a filter ASAP, I'm used to underexposing so I can lift the shadows so I'm still getting used to this guy but having fun practicing with my client dogs on their walks 🤣

Simon and Garfunkel

I have been slowly getting the trust of some crows and a few of the neighborhoods where I walk dogs, the two standouts have been this pair who I have dubbed " Simon and Garfunkel"

Usually they meet me at the school parking lot once I've started my dog walk, but today my dog was sick and I guess I was taking too long chatting with Mom about the walk cancellation that they decided to fly into the neighborhood and perch above where I had parked 😭😂

They were calling the entire time I was chatting with Mom and it was super funny because I ended up sitting my car talking to them and I'm sure she saw me out there.... I'm tempted to get a little dish to set on top of my car roof to see if I can get them to fly down with my sunroof open now.

I captured some rattle calls today, it's the first time I've heard it from them and it makes me so happy that they came looking for me!!

You can see them both perched in the first few seconds of the video, Simon is the one that I zoom in on. He's much more bold and friendly. Garfunkel has some wing damage and is a little shy ❤️

20k + a day on asphalt

What would your first choice be if your job entailed 15-30k steps a day, primarily on sidewalks and roads?

I'm doing OK at the moment with my barebones Whitins and Chacos for days I spend on trails instead, I wore the crap out of a pair of Lems Outlanders in a matter of weeks..looking to add something for when I need a recovery day but am still on my feet.

I don't have any foot pain right now but I am developing a snapping hip on the right side, no other concerns.

Anyone do similar daily steps and have input?

New here! I'm a dog walker among other things, outside all day, and recently decided to start trying to interact with crows again with good success. I have a few neighborhoods where the crows have started coming to find me every morning 😅

Figured I'd share a video from the other day, I got a group of 8-12 crows to follow me across the park we were at, much to the entertainment of some joggers 😅

Trying to perfect my crow call and it's been going well, mainly just use peanuts but going to expand into fruits and goodies soon.
