A long shot but wanted to see if anyone AU/Sydney based would like to purchase this gorgeous Rodeo Mini from Kata Factory.  

It’s completely new and came in the mail just yesterday (20 May). I’ve only just opened it to take a look and to take these photos. Never used, never even left my home. I had bought charms for it and popped them on to show how cute it can look with accessories!

Selling because I decided after ordering and paying that I wanted this exact bag in a different colour and don’t need both. Opening this one made me super sure I want the bag but just in a diff colour as I have the black with gold hardware in the Medium size already.

It looks super beautiful. It’s durable, soft and the hardware is amazing and high quality. It also comes with an adjustable strap! Which is a new update (to my understand). I still tied it though as I like the tied look. The leather is still a little more structured at the front but I love the way it looks hooked on the middle clasp and storing it like this should make it more slouchy over time. 

I love the bag soo much and will very happily keep it if it doesn’t sell but just thought I’d put it out there in case any Sydney/Aus ladies are interested. It’s my first time selling a bag so I will just be very careful that you’re a real person if you aren’t Sydney based before posting. For Sydney based, happy to meet you in person! 

I bought the bag from Aline for about the same price AUD $315 plus shipping. The benefit of buying it from me is that shipping will be super fast as it’s domestic and we can organise express post if you want. For Sydney, we can meet this weekend.

Current market check: still getting the golden dose pens?

For those who have filled a script in the last 2 weeks, did you get the new pen or the old one with the golden 5th dose still in it?

I am 2 weeks off finishing my current pen and wondering if I should buy my new pen now rather than wait and risk getting the new pen.

Let me know your experience out there! Which chemist and city/suburb and did you get the new pen or the old?

Golden Dose: how did you get your syringes?

I have three golden doses sitting in the fridge from my recently finished pens but I can’t work up the courage to walk into the chemist and ask for 1ml insulin syringes 4-6mm knowing the chemist is likely to assume I’m trying to extract the golden dose. 

For those who have done this, what was your experience? Did you get questioned about why you wanted them? Did they hand them over? Did you have to shop around to different chemists? Which chemist provided them? Was it one of the big chains like Priceline and Chemist Warehouse? And how long were the needles? I use 4mm on the pen and am hoping I don’t need to compromise with the syringe. 

Up until now I’ve heard that chemists are reluctant to sell the syringes as Lilly reps have encouraged them not to. All online stores seem to be sold out except for Amazon which sells them but states they’re not sterilised or not for medical use.

This medication is not cheap and the thought of wasting 3 doses because I can’t get my hands of the syringes is the worst!

Knowing other people’s experiences would help me know what to say and what to expect! Thank you all!

What I love most is how lightweight and comfortable it is — you barely notice you’re carrying it. The design is elegant and unique, and the opening mechanism is such a cool feature. For the price, I think it’s excellent value.

I was initially worried the Medium might overwhelm my frame (I’m 5’3”), but it actually sits really nicely and still looks refined.

One downside:
It doesn’t hold as much as you’d expect if you want to maintain that sleek shape. While the Medium has decent capacity, filling it beyond \~1/3 causes the outline of your items to show through when closed. It comfortably fits my large phone, keys, and a few small items without distortion. I think the Small would have been too limiting for me, so I’m still happy with my choice.
This seems to be a design characteristic of the bag itself rather than a flaw with the rep.

Auth vs Rep:
I haven’t seen the authentic in person, so I can’t make a direct comparison. That said, this bag looks elegant, well-constructed, and genuinely luxe. If you know how the auth and rep stack up, let me know in the comments!

Curious to hear how everyone's reps have performed with regular use over time. Have they held up well, or have you noticed issues with wear and tear?

For those who own both reps and auth, how do they compare long-term?

I've recently picked up two high tier bags (Balenc Rodeo and Al@ya Le Click) that I love. They seem to be good quality, both made from leather and with good hardware and I'm wondering how they'll go with daily use vs. if I had the authentic versions. Would love to hear your experiences!
