Endo on diaphragm symptoms

Long-time sufferer of adenomyosis...I took the plunge and had a hysterectomy a few years ago, and I am thankful my nightmare periods are gone. However, my surgeon told me that during the surgery, he did an internal examination to see if there was endo anywhere outside of the uterus. He found some specks on both sides of my diaphragm. I've never had symptoms with this, and since then don't have the general symptoms (frozen shoulder, pain in abs, shortness of breath, etc). The doctor advised that if I do start experiencing these symptoms to go on hormones as a first step.

However, since my hysterectomy, I've noticed 2 symptoms that could be related or could not be related:

  • Coughing. I've dealt with allergies, nasal drip, acid reflux-related coughing for much of my adult life. But lately my coughing has gotten bad. Im pretty sure it's related to allergies or ibs but I was wondering if coughing could also be a symptom of endo on the diaphragm?
  • Since the hysterectomy, I've been focused on getting back in shape and do weight training and healthy eating. In the past, I used to lose weight on my abs first before anywhere else on my body. When my adeno was at its worst, my abs were quite swollen. I thought my body would bounce back, and I have lost weight in other parts of my body. But my abs are not going down as much as I thought they would. It's pudgy on my upper abs and Im wondering if that is connected to the endo?

Asty Cabin

Has anyone stayed in Asty Cabin? It's a new service apartment near Garak Market. I saw their listings on Live Anywhere and their rates are great. However, in the disclaimer, it says due to new environmental laws, they don't provide bedding or towels, which I thought was weird. https://www.astycabinseoul.com/en

Recommendations for Taiwan

  1. My next destination will likely be Taiwan. I initially was going to spend a month in Taipei but the housing situation is proving to be difficult. Not a lot of AirBnbs and can be costly. Not a lot of serviced apartments available. Hotels are pricey. If anyone has stayed anywhere in Taipei that is a AirBnb or serviced apartment that you recommend, I'm all ears!
  2. I might cut my time in Taipei and stay longer term in Tainan. Any other cities that are recommended for nomads?

Ashoke Pandit Claims He Read Private Chats Between Ranveer Singh-Farhan Akhtar

Link: https://www.ndtv.com/entertainment/ashoke-pandit-claims-he-read-private-chats-between-ranveer-singh-farhan-akhtar-amid-rs-45-crore-don-3-row-11626880/amp/1?utm_source=www.ndtv.com&utm_medium=amp-page&utm_campaign=trendingstories

"We saw WhatsApp chats between Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Styling had been completed, costumes had been finalised, tickets had been booked, hotels were arranged and the unit was scheduled to leave within three weeks."

Defending FWICE's decision, Ashoke Pandit said, "The unit was leaving for the shoot in three weeks. Tickets had been booked. Hotels had been booked. Everything had been done. A producer does not spend money like that without commitment from an actor."

Sir tickets and hotels are refundable.

Costumes can be altered and re-used for new actors.

These costs are not set in stone.

Thailand cuts visa-free stay period for more than 90 countries including UK

"UK citizens are among dozens of nationalities who will soon have to apply for a visa if they wish to stay in Thailand for more than 30 days.

Tourists from 93 countries have been able to visit without needing a visa for 60 days since July 2024, as part of a government effort to boost the economy following the Covid pandemic.

But it approved plans on Tuesday to revoke this exemption, with how long travellers can stay to now be decided on a country-by-country basis. It cited security and a confusing visa scheme among reasons for the change.

The new visa system will come into effect 15 days after it appears in the Royal Gazette, where legal and regulatory notifications are published."

Losing weight in perimenopause

I struggled with so much weight gain during perimenopause, putting on 15 - 20 pounds over a few years. Nothing I did did much to budge the weight and what worked in the past doesn't work anymore.

This year, I decided to research solutions and change my approach to weight loss. Since January, I've been actively making changes and finally...FINALLY about 3 months later I started to see some changes in my appearance.

1. Focus on increasing protein. I downloaded a protein tracking app on my phone and instead of counting calories, I just focused on getting my daily protein count above 80 grams initially. Now I'm able to get in the 90 - 100 grams zone pretty easily.

2. Focus on weight training. No more cardio. I do two 30 minute full body routines, 1 20 minute leg routine each week plus I add in at least 1 mat pilates session for core training. Also important, increase your weights periodically. I started at 4 kilo dumbbells and then went to 5 kilo and now at 6 kilos.

3. Get your steps in consistently. Try to get your steps in everyday, regardless if you weight train or not. I aim for at least 7500 steps each day, with 1 day grace per week. Put your headphones on and just walk to the music, even if its just walking back and forth in your house. Sometimes I break it up so I walk 2500 steps after each meal.

4. Limit sugars/carbs. This was hard for me so I did a 10 day detox of no sugar to curb my cravings. Then focused on adding 1 whole grain and 1 fruit per day. After a couple of weeks of that, I added up a serving. I barely eat sweets anymore and when I do, I don't really like the taste anymore. Generally I'll eat carbs for breakfast and lunch and will eat something light, like a salad or soup without starchy ingredients for dinner.

5. Be patient. Middle age weight loss is much much much slower. Give yourself a few months to capture the changes, if any. Don't be discouraged if you don't notice any changes in the first month. I can't say how much weight I loss because I didn't weigh myself before I began the lifestyle changes. But my clothes are getting loser and I can see certain areas of my body a wee bit slimmer. Others have commented that I look like I've lost some weight. I also have more energy.

Father passed away last year. We have been trying to get his 1099 for 2025 so we can file his taxes but his online account is locked. We spoke to an overseas customer service rep who said we can not get that form because his account is locked and they won't be able to access it either. Not sure what to do.
