Hello! I just got a quest 3s on my birthday and decided to try it in pcvr and get aquatinted. After about 30-ish minutes on 3 separate occasions my visuals froze! I could still communicate and looking at my pc monitor I could still see myself moving around, however I couldn't do anything other than disconnect my pcvr cable in order to "fix" it. I legit got upgraded from a quest 2 and i had never dealt with this before. I checked my pc specs and from what I can tell pcvr should be able to work(granted, maybe not the best quality but still playable). After trying a few times and getting the same issue, checking my drivers and etc. I gave up and decided I'd try to ask if anyone knows if there's a possible fix.

Laptop Recomendation

* **Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:** $800 USD

* **Are you open to refurbs/used?** I'd prefer not simply because I've never bought used before and would rather spend my money on something new, but if It's from a trusted website I may consider it!

* **How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?** I'd like a laptop with a decent battery life, something I don't have to constantly monitor, and I don't believe I have any real Ideas on what i'm looking for other than a 14.5 -15+ inch screen, and I also wouldn't mind touchscreen but I'm not looking for that specifically.

* **How important is weight and thinness to you?** Not super important, but obviously portability is nice so I'd prefer to keep it on the lighter side.

* **Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.** 14.5-15+ inches

* **Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.** I'd like to run my art programs like medibang or firealpaca, but I'd also like to be able to play the occasional games like, roblox, java minecraft(or bedrock).

* **If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?** Like before, my heaviest hitters are roblox and minecraft but I'd appreciate something that can handle general use, and 60+ FPS works fine.

* **Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?** A facecam would be a welcome addition! But isn't incredibly needed as I have a plug-and-play facecam already (for my pc). (That'd also make at least two USB ports essential)

* **Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.** Honestly just looking for something that I can use out of the house or around the house that doesn't require me to sit static in one place all the time! I'd also heavily prefer something I can possibly have picked up (from a big box store or something similar) simply because I wouldn't want to risk a delivery that goes wrong or gets stolen.

This is my second time here as I've stewed over the possibility of a laptop purchase for a while and would like one as a birthday gift to myself!
