Fan Factions that use the Hireling Meeples?

Hello. I like the hirelings, and I think they look cool, but I'm not the biggest fan of the hireling mechanic, and really, it'd just be cool to get to play as them in some sort of faction, ya know? I can't seem to find any fan factions that use them, so if anyone knows of any, please inform me
(I do think using them as NPCs for the ROOT RPG is also a possible fun idea)

Ralsei and Character Development

So, I've been thinking about the discourse about Ralsei acting strange during Chapter 5(too mean, but also seemingly still stuck to believing that the prophecy has to happen, even though he doesn't want it to happen), and I've been thinking about how in Chapter 1, he kind of seemed to have more personality. Like, he had way more sass, and he was way more willing to criticize others, while still being a fluffy boy. It's like when he took his hat off, he somehow became more of a doormat, and then he worked his way up to regaining the confidence he seemed to have already achieved by the end of Chapter 1. Idk, it's just kind of odd to me, as a big Ralsei fan, that he feels more developed at the end of Chapter 1 then he does during Chapters 2 and 3.

The Chapter 5 Hate is justified, actually.

(Spoilers for Chapter 5 and prior)
I feel like personally, making every Deltarune chapter longer and longer, really became an issue with this chapter, because at a certain point, stuff really started to drag and I was really losing steam by the end.
I replayed all the previous Deltarune Chapters so that I could play Chapter 5 with the momentum of Chapter 4, and so that I could get Ralsei their plushie(because the fluffy prince deserves it, frankly).

I have never gone from being so extremely pumped, for a game, to being so extremely disappointed, than with Deltarune Chapter 5. The thing is, I played it right after replaying Chapter 4, and I ended up thinking "Holy cow, what's gonna happen next with the prophecy?" "What new secrets will be unveiled?"
Only for everything interesting to happen in the last 15 minutes of this part of the game, and then it was over.
The game became a mediocre platformer for a large section of it, even though that's NOT what anyone came to Deltarune for. Like, the zelda bit and the climbing bit were nice, but it felt like the Zelda gameplay also had actual Deltarune gameplay, and the climbing didn't overstay its welcome, plus it allowed for some great story moments. However, the Chapter 5 platforming was just so underwhelming, and I just really didn't want to through it, but I kind of had to in order to get all the pink coins. On that note, Pink is REALLY underwhelming as a Shadow Crystal boss, especially when all the other secret bosses had something that made them truly exciting. This one did very little to reveal any sort of darker secrets or story to us, and it made me feel like it was a waste of the final Shadow Crystal, when all the other bosses were able to wow me.
I really wanted to like Chapter 5, so much of it was cool, but "dragging" is really my biggest criticism of it, because I don't want to have to replay this chapter again. I say this as someone who happily replayed Chapter 3, Chapter 5 is TOO MUCH. It DRAGS. It needs to waste less of the player's time, especially when it's meant to be the "Last fun adventure" Which honestly, I don't see the point of doing that, because for me all it did was kill the tone set up by Chapters 3 and 4, and now I'm not really excited for Chapter 6. That's my rant, thank you everyone.

Why are people so against the idea of being able to kill Michael Myers?

I've looked at posts discussing the subject, and people act like giving players the ability to do that at all would completely ruin the experience. Like, actually killing Jason in "Friday the 13th, The Game" required an EXTREME length of planning and prep, and it was very easy for Jason to throw a wrench into the whole plan and wreck house even when people were trying their best.
Idk I just think having it as a possibility at all is cool, ya know? I'll admit, I've never played Dead By Daylight, I've only played Friday the 13th, and I'm biased because I actually loved Halloween 2

In search of Ren Faire supplies!

I'm visiting family here and we're planning on going to a Ren Faire, but we've realized that we didn't really pack anything, and we'd all like to get dressed up and stuff, since we don't do this kind of thing often. Anyone know of any thrift stores or other shops we can visit?!?

Trying to find a piece of fan art

Yo, fellow Ralsei fans, I need your help! I'm trying to find that one fanart of Ralsei and Susie kissing in front of Tenna, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Dead Man's Bones and the question of what is Goth

Not sure if this is a perfect place, but Dead Man's bones and their album "Dead Man's Bones" has kind of gotten me thinking, since many people I know would consider it to be Goth music, and many do not. It's mostly just odd because it is very "Gothic" in its themes, but it doesn't really slot nicely into what most people think of when they think of Goth music. I mostly just brought it up because I'm a big fan of the album and just calling it "alternative" and leaving at that, feels incredibly vague. Anyways, what are your thoughts on it and songs that feel "Goth" but many would say are technically not Goth Music

The Public Domain and the Chilling Effect

I see the very common advice of "best not to risk it" when it comes to Public Domain characters, where people go farther than they need to in order to avoid being sued by Disney. They're worried about things like using Oswald's old design, and even using his name within the story itself. I believe that rather than simply assume "better to be safe than sorry" much more of us need to actually read up on and consult lawyers on what is and what isn't legal when it comes to the public domain.
We can't just live in fear of lawyers when it comes to art. The Public Domain is a precious thing, and I think the amount of popular characters owned by people who had no hand in their creation, is disgusting.
I ask that from now on, we all do our best to educate ourselves and each other, and rather than say "better safe than sorry" when someone isn't sure if they can use a character, we say: "Here is what I know, if you're not sure, read up before you use this character." Then we leave it at that. Companies like Disney are made MUCH stronger by people being scared of their army of lawyers than if those same people took the time to read up on what the actual limits of the law are.
