Sorry, this is my first time writing about something. I'm concerned about the game's optimization. A couple of months ago, the minimum requirements were 1060, but now they're 1660. Will I be able to play on the minimum graphics without any issues?I have a 1060 with 6GB of RAM
I hope the story mode campaign isn't just a short retelling of the original film. I know they're expanding some details but i hope we're able to get some decent play time with it. And i swear to all f*cks if the opening mission isn't young Michael killing Judith, i'll be disappointed as all hell.
My imagination is already running wild with the possibilities. I haven't seen a lot of people talking about Michael's ability to throw weapons which seems really cool. Imagine going up against a methodical Myers. He creeps in the shadows, building up his bloodlust by stalking. You know he is present but you don't know where he is. You are working on an objective with an NPC, then suddenly you just see a pitchfork flying through the air and your NPC companion gets one shot. What kind of fun scenarios are you anticipating with this game?
I think it looks so much scarier than if it was just a normal guy
I'm not fan of the faceless inmate myers, but I would absolutely understand if you enjoy that version more than Tony Moran's face, I feel like this is the way that should have been done, Tony is not as famous as Jamie Lee Curtis and wouldn't be that difficult or expensive to have his face in the game. This can 100% be a variant of the skin, a re-color or whatever you want to call it.
+ a lot of us are pre-ordering the game 2 times, they are gonna get a lot of $ and I'm just asking for this variant, there's absolutely no problem with money in this sense, it's perfectly possible.
What do you guys think about this concept I did? I would appreciate a shout-out since I REALLY want this to get made, or at least a mod (nexusmod) with this possibility in the game.
haven’t seen it here but on twitter there was controversy over the possible use of AI art on the Halloween game. It turns out it was a custom steam banner someone made themselves. Despite this it’s still spreading with people accusing Gun/illfonic of using AI. Just letting people know.
Im really looking forward to playing this game however I’ve been looking around at the community from the discord and this Reddit and everyone seems like they haven’t actually been raised in society and instead lived in a tribe disconnected from reality. Anyone else feel this way?

I might be the only one that feels this way but in reallyyyyyy don’t want this game to be randomized it’s one of the worst aspects of f13 I played hundreds of hours of f13 off and on and they never ones got it right the same person would get Jason and than they added the tickets system so if your not picked as Jason you get one and who ever has the most is Jason yet I could play all day long and only get Jason ones people think everyone will play mayers and that’s it but that’s never been the case with any of these type of games expect when ones side is so broken no one wants to play the other side pretty much all of these games have a pretty even play base for both sides there’s people who don’t want to play Myers and there’s people that will want to and on top of that this is a 1v4 game it won’t be hard to find a match even if it’s uneven if they don’t let you main Myers it don’t think if I will even wanna play it cuz I just know if it’s random it’s gonna be busted and never be random or peoples gonna cheat it to make sure they get Myers like f13 just let us pick…..
Hi my question is i preordered the deluxe edition on steam which is my first game i preorder on steam and it says the game is available on september 8th but from what i have read deluxe edition gets early access so if anyone knows if ill be able to download the game when the early access starts or if i have to wait till the 8th
Surely I can't be the only one who was mildly disappointed when they announced that the inmate Myers skin would stay blurred. Don't get me wrong I do really like that idea as an alternative look. I can only imagine how scary it would be to see a faceless man coming at you in a match. But in my opinion it makes sense to release a version with a face. Especially since they are basing this game off the original movie and he was unmasked and you could clearly see his face. I don't mind this so much in multi-player as there will be lots of skins and it doesn't have to stay 100% movie accurate. However, I think when playing the story mode it is a little strange if they keep him faceless during the gameplay. I don't mind it too much. The thing I would hate the most is if they showed his blurred face during the cinematic scenes (which I doubt they will do). Just a small critique, but overall I am excited and very optimistic about the game.

I've been thinking about the 1v4 format for Halloween: The Game and, honestly, I feel like a 5v1 (or even bigger matches) would make the chaos and the fun so much better.
With Haddonfield being such a cool map and the inclusion of NPCs/police elements, having one extra survivor would open up so many cool strategy options. It would also help balance things out if Michael Myers ends up being too overpowered at launch. Plus, it's always better when you can fit more friends into the same lobby.
Does anyone know if there’s an official feedback thread or a change.org petition going around to ask the devs for larger matchmaking modes?
Would love to hear your thoughts on this! Do you think 1v4 is the perfect sweet spot, or should they expand it?
I do like how the game is going more on the Friday the 13th route with its survivors. Making up new characters to keep the game fresh but also including legacy characters for a good amount of nostalgia and familiarity.
You read the title, we should do this for a few days and play this game instead, maybe both bhvr will see tf they are doing to their own game and revert things back for better, and this game which is literally made by the same team as the og f13 game a legend, will get enough attention. Anyone seeing this, spread this everywhere, be careful for a ban tho, thats why im posting this here instead of dbd subred if i havent they can ban me for good and people may not ever see this. Btw, great game, im waiting for the release. Gonna buy it the second it releases.
