Isle of man courgette

Isle of man courgette

Today this courgette that my girlfriend grew was inlay with your flag (kind of). Is this a promotion from the tourism board? Or a sign from the 2-wheeled gods after buying my first motorbike this year, that I need to go watch the TT some time?

Glad I had my camera with me!

Stumbled upon this local carnival the evening before they opened up, was really cool to see! Felt like a movie set or something.

It was one of those moments I was very glad I brought my camera along

E46 Info & experiences

Hi all,

I am looking at upgrading to an E46 3-series in the near future, and would like some advice from people with experience with these cars / the differnt types.

Currently I own a 140hp Celica which I love, and so I understand that power isnt everything when it comes to enjoying cars. the main thing I'd like to know is:

- is a 320ci enjoyable enough to drive to the point that it's not worth getting a 325 or 330 (for someone who isnt tooooo interested in pure speed)?

- are any of the models considerably more reliable / economical to own than others?

Any other information or experiences are also welcome, just wanting to build up a picture of what these cars are like to drive / use.

(looking at 2-door coupe ideally) (I am aware that the car pictured is not an E46, it is my car, just thought its good to include a photo)

Thanks all!

Poor Celica hit by van :(

Last weekend, a van driver hit into my parked car, ripping the bumper off! Finally got the bugger on CCTV! He was driving an electric van so it makes sense really!

I would feel smug now, but insurance have said it's a total loss(!) and I have to pay to get my car valued because it's over 20 years old(?!), so I reckon I will cancel the claim and just fix it myself.

I've done a police report too so hopefully something will come from that, but Im not gonna hold my breath.

Park safe out there everyone! (I was fully within a parking space btw).

London to Brighton

Cycled from London to Brighton today on my £150 decathlon single speed! I took a scenic route which was just over 100km total, although I did have to walk a bit up the hill at the end 🫠 got great weather for it, and definitely recommend giving it a go!

I'm cycling from London to Brighton next weekend, need some internet opinions on if my chain should be more taut or if it's okay for a long ride to be loose-ish like this (video attached) thanks! :)
