Best dash cam for me?

I'm looking into getting a dash cam for my new to me vehicle. I'm between the viofo a119 mini and the rove r2 4k. I've come to understand that dash cams all have pros and cons. For now, I just want a cheaper dash cam that can get the job done. How important is a rear cam? It seems a lot of people recommend just to get a front. The rove seems decent for the price and most likely good enough for what I need. I mainly care about reliability and just having evidence. What's yalls input?

What's the best dash cam for me?

I just purchased a new to me 2012 rav4. Obviously with owning a vehicle a dashcam is a consideration. The car has a few dings and bings, but nothing major. I don't want to go crazy on a dash cam, but I do plan to travel a lot and use the car as my daily. After a bit of research I seem to be between the Viofo a229 and the thinkware q200. Which one of these should I go with? Is there anything I'm missing? I want to stay under 200 usd.

Battery cover question

I bought a new to me 2012 toyota rav4. I went to get the battery checked, and the employee there mentioned that I should remove the surrounding battery cover (highlighted in yellow). They mentioned that it could potentially cause overheating and start a fire. I've never heard of this before, so I just wanted to verify with yall. From what I could find online it seems that it's supposed to be there? I have no clue.

Is this a good dash cam?

I'm sure yall get this question a bazillion times, but I just wanted to post and get yalls input. I did a little bit of research and I think I've decided on this one. I just want something cheaper and reliable. What do yall think about this one?

I'm officially joining the club!

I made a post a few days ago about a used rav4 near me. After all the responses from yall, looking at the car in person, and inspecting it I pulled the trigger. Immediately did a 2 hour drive and it felt good. It's a 2012 V6 4wd, with 110k miles. I'm fixing to do a bunch of baseline maintenance myself, but I wanted to hear yalls input. What things do I need to look at closer and what are some good convenience purchases for it?

Thoughts on this 2012 Rav4?

Its got 110k miles, 4wd, and the V6 3.5L 2GR-FE. The price is 9k out the door for it. It's two owners and seems well maintained. There wasn't any noticeable problems with anything. Is this a good buy?
