Just got a push notification from the Adidas app that the Japan away jersey in my size was back in stock and immediately clicked on it only to see that it's still sold out in both versions 😢 are notifications like that just mistakes? Or was I too late? I clicked on the notification almost as soon as it hit my phone so I'm a bit confused.
First grow— Is all that white stuff mycellium?? I've been pretty careful to just leave the bags alone in the top shelf of my closet which I've had a thermometer in the entire time making sure it stays between 72 and 78 degrees F and haven't been touching them at all. I literally just grabbed the containers today to check and have been looking at them from the bottom so I minimize chances of contam.
From here on, should I literally just stick em in the closet and forget about them for the next two weeks and then move on to spawn to bulk when the bags get fully colonized? I noticed not all of the bags are colonized as well (or at all which worries me slightly) as the two main ones in the pictures, but I figure it's just due to randomness in colonization time, genetics, etc. and will sort itself out in time. The two pictures are two different strains btw.
Is this a good sign and worth a small celebration???

I bought 3 10 mL LC syringes from Sporestock — one each of Hillbilly Pumpkin, Golden Teacher and B+.
I was told that you aren't supposed to mix strains and have them growing in the same monotub as they'd compete and it just wouldn't work. But can I combine multiple UB bags of the same strain into individual monotubs and have all three strains growing at the same time? Once I start the fruit to bulk stage, do I need to have them in separate environments or can all three tubs be placed next to each other on the same shelf?
I was planning on starting out with 2-3 UB bags per strain for my first grow to maximize what I have growing, and all three strains to be tried out at the same time to measure how differently they grow + hopefully have a good variety and amount of shrooms yielded if everything works out from start to finish.
Also, once the bags are inoculated, can I just store all of the ones of the same strain in the container I'll eventually put them in? Or would it be best to separate them too while growing? Is it necessary to keep them in the still air box vs. in the container with the lid popped?

Finally decided to give this a go! Just had a few questions about it. I bought 3 syringes from sporestock and all of the other thing necessary to grow and fight off contamination.
For my first try at this, I was planning on just doing Uncle Ben's bags until I get good enough or want to continue on to making jars, getting a pressure cooker, etc. My biggest question is should I should I go with Uncle Ben's bags but get one of those all in one grow bags as well to try and hedge my bets a bit since that method seems a bit more forgiving for newcomers? Essentially just inject and forget until the colonization finishes up.

Hey y'all, I finally pulled the trigger and bought an MP5 .22 LR and was wondering about the situation with braces/stocks. It was the 8" barrel model, not the 16" with the faux suppressor and with no brace on it at all, just the end cap. With the ATF ruling on pistol braces being repealed, does that mean I can pop a pistol brace on that puppy since it's classified as a pistol and not an sbr?
I also saw that it was pretty hard to find a manufacturer that still makes braces and stocks for the .22's, but I looked on gunbroker and saw a lot of options for around $100-125ish. Would those be compatible with it?
I found a gently used iPad Air 13" M2 on FB marketplace with an apple pencil pro included initially for 600, they cut the listing price to 550 and I negotiated with him to go down to 520.
The iPad itself looks great - no visible dents, scratches or issues I could see. He said it has been signed out of iCloud and factory reset as well.
My use case is mostly going to be for note taking at work, web and social media browsing, casual art on procreate and watching shows and movies. I had an ipad air 11" in the past and loved the size, is the 13" going to be noticeably bigger? I don't think I need the Pro for what I'll be doing and liked how the air was a bit more compact, just wondering if this version of iPad air is the way to go.
He said that he was selling it because it was his wife's and she doesn't use it anymore and doesn't see the need to have two ipads in the house.
The seller checks out, doesn't seem shady and is from my home town. Works at a private Christian university where I'll be meeting him at. Obviously I'm going to evaluate further when I see it in person, but just wanted to see if this sounds like a fairly normal good deal.
