Looking for a U.S. cut-and-sew manufacturer for a women’s technical jacket

I started a women’s outdoor apparel brand (original, I know!), and we’re looking for a new U.S. manufacturing partner for our technical jacket.

Our first production run was made by a manufacturer in NYC, but we’re looking for a more cost-effective option to improve our margins. Ideally we’d find a facility in the South, but we’re open to recommendations anywhere in the U.S.

We already have our digital patterns, grading, and materials, so we’re not looking for product development—just a manufacturer that can produce the jacket to our specifications. Our next production run will be at least 96 jackets, with the goal of scaling over time.

For those of you who’ve been through this process:

How did you find your manufacturing partner?
Are there directories, trade organizations, sourcing resources, or specific factories you’d recommend?
Any advice on finding a reliable U.S. cut-and-sew facility for technical outerwear?

I’m still learning the industry’s terminology, so if I’m not using the correct nomenclature, I appreciate your patience.
Thanks in advance for any advice or leads—we’d be incredibly grateful!

Has anyone received a different verdict?

$102!!! Ticket for parking on telegraph in front of a poorly marked yellow area. 1. There’s a bike lane between the parking spot and the curb. 2. The color of the curb wasn’t distinct enough to notice 3. No signage.

I contested and still have to pay an outrageous amount..

The other question: what are they doing with this money? Because it isn’t going to pothole repair..

I run a small apparel brand on Shopify and we’re using a custom-built theme (“Baggy”).

We recently added more color variants to one of our products, and now on mobile only, the color swatches extend off screen but you can’t scroll horizontally, so some colors are inaccessible.

What I’m seeing:

•	Desktop: works fine

•	Mobile: swatches get cut off, no scroll

•	Looks like a container/overflow issue (CSS?)

Our original developer quoted ~$400–$550 (1.5–2 hrs at $275/hr) to fix this, saying they need to re-run the codebase + test.

Questions:

1.	Does this look like a simple CSS overflow/flexbox issue, even on a custom theme?

2.	Where would this typically live (variant picker / product template / CSS file)?

3.	Is this something a beginner with theme access could safely fix, or should I hire someone quick?

4.	Sanity check: is that pricing reasonable for this type of issue?

We have full Shopify admin + theme/code access.

Appreciate any direction! THANK YOU!!
