Hey all, as a lot of you know, konami dropped the Genesys Anniversary points update yesterday which had over 300 points changes. All of them were listed in alphabetical order and were not grouped by archetypes, making it hard to digest all of the changes at once. It was hard to internalize just how much some archetypes were affected at a glance, like blitz and sacred beast, because the names for their cards were spread out alphabetically.

To solve this, my team created a fully categorized summary of all the changes sorted by archetype (generics and staples are at the end). Hopefully this helps everyone in their preparation for YCS Houston and beyond. Feel free to share this with others, and have fun labbing!

Player A controls an xyz monster on the field and has one in the GY, along with Full Armored Xyz in the GY

Player B uses the effect of Surge Blitzclique to target Player A's xyz monster on the field.

Player A chains the effect of Full Armored Xyz in the GY and equips an Xyz monster from GY to Surge Blitzclique's target

Chain resolves and Player A destroys their equipped xyz monster by the effect given by Full Armoed Xyz. Surge Blitzclique thus stays in the hand.

If Player B has a Whisker Blitzclique in their hand at this point, would they be allowed to use his following effect?

>During the turn a card(s) was destroyed by your "Blitzclique" card effect (Quick Effect): You can reveal this card in your hand; Special Summon up to 3 Thunder monsters from your hand, then you can destroy up to that many cards on the field
