I have a pressing question.

Did Orion ever do underground porn?

No judgement here, but I heard of this a while back that over a decade ago, he did some underground Polish porn? I'm curious to know if anyone else has ever heard the same? I would think it would be something semi-known in the fandom if true, but maybe not? Could be a bunch of bullshit.

I just want a confirmation if it's true or not to satisfy my curiosity. This is bugging me. Thank you.

The eclipse happened right on my ascendant lord. Should I brace for impact?

I've been quite amused that a solar eclipse the astrology community was hyped about happened on my ascendant lord. I understand that in pre-modern times, astrologers portended eclipses as bad omens, but in modern times, astrologers portend eclipses as immense changes in general.

Since it is my ascendant lord, I wonder if this will have an affect on my body and health? My life in general? It happened in my twelfth house, so I'm sure that will impact that house, but in what way?

I would love to see what you all conclude and I also included the eclipse impact chart for further delineation.

Thank you to all who respond!

I think Vaush's move out the country has been overblown.

Yeah, yeah, it's another thread on this. 🙄

I am of the opinion that there was a part of Vaush that wanted to leave anyway, but didn't have that push, or real reason, to do so until he met his beloved partner. He loves his partner, the relationship is obviously quite serious, and I'm sure this decision wasn't made lightly. With that said, the reaction to it is insane and I would like to address some points.

Vaush leaving the country is not a betrayal. He can still support, discuss, fight, and promote from afar. Yes, I understand the negative optics of a privileged, cis-presenting, White male leaving the country when it all falls down, but if you have watched Vaush long enough, and I've only watched him for a couple of years by now, you should know that he isn't trying to throw us, or the leftist fight, under the bus. Which brings me to my next point.

People leaving a fascist dictatorship is nothing new. It's human nature to do things out of survival and self-preservation. The admin is already targeting Hasan and while all eyes are currently on Hasan, I'm sure the admin's eyes would eventually trickle-down to other leftist streamers, including Vaush. However, and most importantly in my opinion, he is thinking about his beloved partner. They are an immigrant, a queer immigrant at that, and if you haven't been living under a rock since 2024, you would know immigrants and queers are the admin's current favorite targets, and he's going with his beloved partner, because he loves them and wants to protect them, domestic and abroad! Wouldn't you want your loved one(s) to do the same for you?

This doesn't mean people can't have honest criticisms and concerns. Some of you all are being assholes telling people they are being parasocial or jealous about this. When I learned of the news, even I shed a tear or two, because I'm going to miss having Vaush in the United States, but I'm also genuinely happy for him. Having a connection with your favorite streamer doesn't make one parasocial and I feel like that term is being used to shame people for having feelings for strangers. This country is already emotionally numb and cold as is, so lets not add on to it. Viewers who might have some hesitation, or even dislike Vaush's decision, doesn't equate to them being jealous haters, and that includes the ones who question how this will effect his streaming content, and whether you want to hear it or not, eventually, Vaush's streaming content will be effected by this new era. Whether it will be negative or positive remains to be seen.

If the going gets tough, a lot of us will probably take an exit, if given the opportunity. I'm located in the rural south, a place Vaush loves to hate, and where I'm located in the rural south already has fascism knocking on my front door, so to speak. My state's first ICE detention center will be in my county, a county that is 80%+ Black (with a significant population of immigrants too) and where the majority live below the poverty line, in a town I'm only fifteen minutes from. That means ICE will be in the streets of my vicinity. Some people in the country are already protesting and I'm sure it will draw even more attention by the time the detention center opens in September. I'm already brainstorming protesting ideas that I'm sure will put a target on my back (even speaking about this on here is doing that) in a town where I've been outspoken in the past about Trump and MAGA, which has made quite a bit of people here hate my guts already, including an old church of mine. In addition to that, I recently learned of a MAGA attorney who is running for my district. If she wins, that's it for my district and it will become even more of a fascist hellhole and yeah, if the going gets too tough, I'm out of here if given the opportunity, and lot of other locals would be too, if they don't kill us all first.

Vaush is not the only voice in the movement. Use yours. If you truly feel betrayed by Vaush and believe he has abandoned us, why not pick up the ball yourself? Become that next political streamer. The lot of you are young and could give a fresh perspective and bring something new to the table. Vaush is in his thirties and has been streaming for several years now. This man is getting older, things are changing, and I can tell that he has been kind of checked out and exhausted by all of this. Don't wait for him to pass the torch, take that torch from his grubby hooves (I kid, I kid). So instead of berating him and calling him a coward, why not pick up where he left off? Get out there in the internet streets, hell, the physical streets too. This is the time to prove you're just not all talk.

I hope this will give you all something to think about. By all means, agree, disagree, add on to it, take away from it, call me a jealous hater, a parasocial freak, a deceitful betrayer. I don't care. I really had to get this off my chest and I just want you all to read it and think about it.

Thanks.

Whenever there is a discussion about us B/W Biracials and how we should and should not identify, the one-drop rule is usually included in the discussion. I'm of the opinion that it is being misapplied and wrongly defined. The one-drop rule originally applied to Whites who had a small, distant percentage of Black heritage that was undetectable, such as the Octaroons. It usually wasn't applied to Mulattoes for the most part, as people can easily clock us as being mixed.

I believe if you have one parent that is fully Black, it's okay to consider yourself Black because that is a close and direct genetic and cultural connection. We aren't talking about some random great-great grandma being Black, but since there seems to be a fearmongering of Biracials currently happening, I'm seeing rhetoric claiming calling Zendaya Black is following the one-drop rule when she has a whole Black parent.

I've even heard some refer to individuals with 25% Black heritage as being "fully White" and it's like what? That's still a significant chunk via a grandparent and far from being fully White, but how they racially identify will vary.

I'm also seeing some Biracials follow this same rhetoric and I sometimes feel like it's a case of some of you all letting the internet dictate how you should feel and think about yourselves. At the end of the day, race is a social construct, but our experiences and environments determine how we racially view ourselves, and we shouldn't let monoracials dictate to that.

So for the mixed race people and monoracial people reading this, please get a better understanding of what the one-drop rule actually means, how it was used and towards who. Using it as a blanket representation of all Biracials isn't helping anyone or anything when it comes to racial identity.
