Immune protocol prior to IVF transfer

I have history of endo with excision surgery 1 year ago. I did 2 months of lupron suppression prior to my first medicated transfer with a euploid embryo which failed.

My clinic has me doing another fully medicated cycle for this next transfer, with the addition of 2 weeks of birth control and daily lupron prior to starting transfer meds.

I asked about adding in an immune protocol, including baby aspirin, Pepcid, Claritin, and steroids with this transfer. My doctor said there’s basically not enough evidence to recommend this, but if I wanted to take these meds myself I can (minus the steroid) as there’s minimal harm to it.

I don’t feel fully comfortable doing something that my clinic doesn’t necessarily recommend, but at the same time I am willing to do anything possible to make this work and have read a lot of positive discussions on immune protocols.

Would you feel comfortable taking these meds, or have you found them to be beneficial for you?

Flying after FET

Hi everyone,

My next transfer will be taking place on a Friday. I have a close friend getting married the day after that would require a 2 hour plane trip to get to.

What are everyone’s thoughts on flying/traveling the day after a transfer? My clinic said there’s no restrictions and it should be okay. I guess I’m wondering if there’s any impact of travel stress or change of routine on success.

That being said, my first transfer failed and during that cycle I mostly stayed home during the two week wait and took it easy.

Failed FET after lap excision surgery and 2 month Lupron Depot Suppression

Hi everyone, I’m processing our recently failed fully medicated transfer with a PGT-A tested embryo. My beta was 0.3. Would love to hear input and advice on how to move forward so I’m prepared when we meet with our doctor.

What I’ve done:
-lap excision surgery for stage 2 endometriosis, hysteroscopy, chromotubation performed by a Nook endo excision specialist (September 2025)
-SIS (Feb 2026)
-2 month Lupron depot suppression (May-July 2026)
-strict anti-inflammatory diet including avoiding gluten, dairy, limiting sugar, and no caffeine or alcohol since surgery
-Pilates/weight training 3-4 times/week
-Supplements including NAC, vit D, fish oil, prenatal

What I am curious about for next cycle:
-transitioning to a modified natural cycle
-evaluating for chronic endometritis
-considering an immune protocol
-monitoring progesterone & estrogen levels closely (was not done at my clinic with my first transfer)

I question whether I should do more testing before a second transfer, as it would likely delay the process more and put me outside of my recent suppression window.

Please let me know if you have any input for this, as well as any other recommendations to discuss with my provider. I’m very devastated that this was our outcome, so I hope to optimize our chances the best we can before our next round.
