I love her, she’s probably my fav plant. I’m just wondering why no fenestrations? It has a support pole. It’s growing from two active growth points, which is why it’s so bushy and full.

It’s right next to a west facing window. I’m in Aus, so that equals full afternoon sun. I feed it every second watering with foliage focus. It’s in a chunky aroid mix, and I just moved it to a self watering pot as it was a bit root bound in its old pot.

I’ve had it for around 6-7 months now. 1st photo is from yesterday, 2nd photo was around 2 months ago (it pushed out two new leaves since then).

The pole you see in the background of the first pic is where the window is.

I can’t even count how many plants there are now. It keeps flowering and I’m guessing it’s dropping seeds back into the soil. It’s moving into Autumn here in Australia, so Im not sure whether to leave it for now or try and split them up a bit.

60 layers later, ugh. I could work on it more, but I think I’m at risk of overworking it.

I used an array of pencils and charcoal brushes. The charcoal brushes ended up being an unexpected favourite, I’ll definitely need to use them more moving forward.

I tried a bunch of different pencil/graphite kits for this one! I think my fav was the square 6B pencil.

Just got this online as a gift. It’s a philodendron ring of fire. Nearly all these leaves have these markings all over them. Any clue what they are? I’ve left it outside in case it’s pests.

Because it’s new, I don’t have details on its care. But so far it’s sitting outside, getting dappled sun all day. It arrived bare rooted, so I potted it up in an aroid mix and gave it a thorough watering.
