So my AP scores came in today as expected. I am a first year incoming at UCI.

Despite looking on College Board and them saying that the scores were sent, they have not shown up on my portal. Should I just send them in again, I don't wanna miss the deadline and I can pay the $15. I already emailed my admissions counselor and they said that they have not received scores from me despite it saying the opposite on my portal. For what it's worth my College Board email and the email on my UCI portal were different when I sent it (I have changed that now)

Should I wait longer to see if they update or nah?

my major is polisci and I have to take the 3 course sequence to pass the math requirement. The only problem is that I suck at calc (got a 3 on BC LMAO) and I'm not really a STEM guy. Looking at the course catalog I saw 3 good options for the sequence which were ANTHRO 10A-10B-10C, and SOCIOL 10A-10B-10C, and SOC SCI 10A-10B-10C. My question is would it be best to continue on the calc path bc I did get AB credit, or would taking this new sequence be best (these classes seem legitimately interesting to me rather than if I did calc and stats

So yea I shotgunned only UCs and only the competitive ones as well, the highest acceptance rate of any school I applied to was 31% lol and I went 2-2-1 so I am happy with that. The only reason I am somewhat disappointed is because my school has a bunch of sweats like me but some got into ivies. I committed to UCI so ZOT ZOT ZOT

Obviously I know that waitlists nowadays are “soft rejections” as ppl say. But the way that the UC’s are going about it kinda pmo. Like four of your campuses (SD, LA, Berk, Irvine) are some of the most applied to schools in the world and are all T30s, obviously hella ppl want to go to these schools. at least let theme know their fate reasonably quickly instead of getting their hopes up and then bringing them down hard. It’s almost June and yet ppl still are waiting and waiting.

What’s worse is that there are people who are on the waitlist or CC option, I am waitlisted at SD but it doesn’t matter to me that much because I am happily and proudly committed to Irvine. But man I feel for anyone who is waitlisted at any of the schools I mentioned above (This applies to UCSD the most y’all are actually trolling) and doesn’t have anything to fall back on.

Yea this is hella whiny but I honestly am so over the college app process it’s so toxic and brings out so negativity. And if you don’t get in anywhere just be proud that you are going to college at all it’s still a big deal and you can always transfer 💚

I am an incoming first year. My student ID that appeared on my acceptance letter was posted to social media by myself unintentionally as I forgot to censor the ID. I checked my portal and nothing is off but I just wanted to know what I should do. I have also deleted the post that it appeared on, I forgot to censor bc I got really excited to post my letter lol. Hey guys im an incoming freshman. I did the writing placement portfolio. However in the last part which is the reflection, I tried to save and exit the survey to do it another time. However the platform required you to put down some words in order to save first. So, I wrote like one word just so I could save, when I tried to complete the portfolio today my response for the reflection was already submitted (bc it had words Ig) so I had to go on. How will this affect me and will I be rescinded?
