Multispectral Camoflauge

Hello all, are there any multispectral camoflauge systems worth looking at other than Beez or Relv with a focus on thermal concealment? Does anyone have an idea as to the mechanism being used to improve the performance of these fabrics? I had heard aerosolized titanium or aluminum being applied as a coating, but that is just hearsay at the moment.

I am in the process of performing research with the end goal of developing an accessory to enhance the performance of multispectral camoflauge with a focus on the thermal spectrum. My next step is to get ahold of either a complete leaf suit/viper hood or make on using special fabric that has good multispectral/thermal camoflauge performance. It would be even better if the fabric was also inherently FR.

Thank you.

Bonus points to anyone who can recommend a good leaf suit option to checkout. I am currently looking at Lapa Gear, but I believe only their Multicam option uses NIR/IRR fabric for the leaves and was hoping for something in more of a fall leaves palette.

Female Specific Equipment?

Hello everyone, what is currently considered the best plate and/or armor carrier on the market, and plates, specifically cut for women? I know Tyr Tactical has had their female Epic out for a while, and there is whatever has been issued to female Air Force personnel, but I haven't seen much else.

This would be for a 5'2" petite woman.

Thabk you.

"Barefoot" Shaped Dive Booties?

Has anyone here ever found a company that makes "Barefoot" cut dive booties, booties cut more ergonomically for shorter wedge shaped feed with a wide forefoot, or a custom dive bootie maker who I could order something like this from?

The booties I have now are starting to show their age, and I would like to get something that actually fits the shape of my foot more properly the next time around. Just to give you an idea of what I am talking about, I wear Altra Lone Peak trail running shoes for hiking and backpacking in a size 10.5 in wide and something like a 6E work boot.

Thank you.

Tavor X95 Freefloat Barrel Accuracy Question

Hello everyone, has anyone here seen a notable improvement in the accuracy of their X95s after getting a habdguard which allows the barrel to be free floated?

I have a Tavor SAR 16" model that gets 2MOA consistently with 75gr PPU, but have not seen an X95 Stateside do better than 3-4MOA regardless of ammo and am curious is anyone is getting better performance than that and if they saw a dofference with a handguard swap.

I was issued a Tavor Commando and later an X95 in the IDF and have been getting the itch to buy an SBR'd X95 something fierce, so I want to see what is the current state of the rifles performance.

Who makes the highest rated soft armor that is also the lightest weight?

I am looking for the best rated soft armor, at the lightest weight, with the lowest amount of allowable back face deformation.

A while ago, there was a company (Trophy Gear Shop) trying to sell a battle belt with soft armor and STKSS compatability from Ukraine. I really wanted one, but couldn't find a way to ensure I would be able to get my money back if they did not deliver my order. One of the things they said in their video was that US soft armor back face deformation standards were much worse than those for Russian soft armor and even more so for the Ukrainian standards. Russian QC is all over the place, so it is unclear whether they will get what they claim you will, and Ukraine has a concealed and unconcealed standard for soft armor deformation with non-concealed soft armor having stricter requirements.

Does anyone make armor in the US which meets higher standards for back face deformation than the NIJ .07, or is there anyone worth specifically buying from to get quality Ukrainian soft armor for the purpose?

US NIJ .07

  1. Each individual BFD measurement (BFDi) ≤ 44.0 mm

or

  1. (44.0 mm ≤ BFDi ≤ 50.0 mm) and (BFDave + 𝑘1𝑠 ≤ 44.0 mm)

Trophy Gear Shop talking about the battle belts and soft armor. If anyone got one of these, I would love to hear about it as well.
