I do freelance Framer sites. Multilang projects come up regularly, and every time I have the same conversation with the client:

"What's this $20/month per language?"

"Framer's Locales add-on."

"We're not paying that. Can we do it differently?"

Third client in, I started looking around. Native Framer Locales = $20/mo/lang. Weglot = monthly. Linguana = monthly. Nothing fit a "ship a 5-lang site and move on" project.

So I built a plugin for it. Page Translator. €29 one-time, no recurring fees.

The way it works: the plugin extracts all text from your selected pages and packages it into a prompt. You paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini (no API key needed), paste the JSON response back, and the plugin duplicates your pages at /fr, /de, /es as real Framer URLs (indexed by Google), sets up hreflang tags, and generates a Language Switcher in one click. There's also a DeepL automatic mode if you'd rather skip the copy-paste (DeepL free tier = 500k chars/month).

Free plan covers 1 language and 5 pages so you can test the workflow end-to-end. CMS collections are a separate plugin.

Honest limit: it's not for projects where you constantly edit source content and want translations auto-synced. For static multilang sites you ship once and tweak occasionally, the math changes a lot.
