Extra instrumentation was added to compliment the song and make more "roboty." Does it fit?
This was made using Syntheyes (3D tracking software) and Blender. I get that it's a little slow. The joints on the robot don't make any sense. I worked on this every weekday on the train to and from work.
I think Macintosh Plus just deserves a good, high-end music video. Have any of you made a music video for your music? What does it entail?
I realize this is 4 years late. I made this using a photo-scanned, plush octopus. It's kinda random. I really love these toys and wish they'd get animated more in this way.

I just had to make this after listening to Macintosh Plus. It took 5 months to make and features over 60 visual effects shots. I get that it's not perfect, nor very exciting to watch. Pretty slow-paced. The robot's joints don't make any sense. I didn't use any AI.
Why did this render turn out so bad? I'm using Booleans on the mouth of this character. The boolean changes shape as he speaks. I'm on a Macbook Pro with the M4 chip, 64 gigs of RAM... I rendered in Cycles using my CPU because that's usually better in my experience. It's hard working on something for so long just to have it not render correctly.
I'm using EXR Multilayers with most of the layers active. Mist pass, Cryptomatt, those things
