VS Garret | Ez (still the goat tho)
Only gym I first tried so far (luck is a talent).
Garret is one my favorite characters in the game even though he really needs to shower ;)
VS Aaron | Pretty tough actually
The key here was to prevent Trick Room from being set up which is easier said than done: Bronzong is very bulky (+ Levitate so no funny Earthquake :( ) and Perserrker hit harder than I imagined.
Empoleon and Magnezone hit like a truck. The rest of his team is usually enough to finish the job.
Overall, I really enjoyed this battle !
VS Rosetta | A decent challenge
Her pokemons hit like a truck so it was a kill or get killed situation that's why the battle went fast x)
Darmanitan and Lycanroc-Dusk hit criminally hard. I'm always surprised at how many things Flare Blitz and Accelrock can straight up OHKO haha.
Cellia seems like a gigantic place to explore akin to Reborn City, there's so many content (needing to farm the Battle Club for a quets was pretty annoying tho) and it was only Central. I'm excited to see what the North and Est sections will propose !
Replayed one of my fav game, it was a blast !
Why does the locations of Daily Grind show up for some people and not me ?
Me (first image) VS other person (second image)
Got it on the first try, Unbound gives a lot of guaranteed shinies so I'm not sure if I was extremely lucky or if it's completely normal xd
Purugly was a pleasant discovery. It was really useful for catching mons and Fake Out + Defiant was a stellar combination for the Elite Four (believe it or not, she was the MVP of thid last stretch).
Replaying this game now feels even better than the last time as I took my time to explore and capture everything. Expert felt just the right amount of difficulty for me and I really enjoyed my adventure, can't wait to play the post-game ! :)
Somehow first tried Moleman, I got good RNG but still proud of how I handled things.
I lead with Purugly and Infernape holding Air Balloon, Fake Out and Close Combat on Excadrill. Flygon's Clanging Scalesweakens both of my mons and Sandslash comes in.
I switch my Purugly for Gengar to avoid both Earthquakes and Infernape Mach Punch to chip Sandslash before dying. I send out Primarina.
No Rock Slide flinches so Gengar finishes Sandslash and Primarina kills Flygon with Ice Beam. Sandstorm kills my Gengar.
I send out Purugly and luckily gets Defiant boosted by Landorus' Intimidate accompanied by the monster Gliscor. I Fake Out + Ice Beam on Landorus while Gliscor sets up with Swords Dance.
Purugly finishes Landorus with Return before dying to Earthquake. Primarina tanks with a sliver of HP before retaliating with a Scald burn. Both gets finished by chip damage so it's up to Metagross and Jolteon to face Moleman's last pokemon.
