Looks like the fuckin plumbus on Rick and Morty. 🥲
As a Gemini, biting my tongue isn’t always the most natural reaction for me. But here we are, we push through!
(Although I genuinely am irritated with my spouse, this is meant to be a funny post, I’m okay and will be fine once I cool off)
Hey guys. I was diagnosed with endo a few years ago as an incidental finding during a laparoscopy. The purpose of that surgery was to remove my fallopian tube that had adhered to my bowels, as well as have a uterine septum removed. My surgeon didn’t “stage” me or anything like that, and I didn’t notice that it was noted in the report until a couple months later, unfortunately my surgeon retired shortly after he did my laparoscopy so I never discussed it with him.
I’ve had a fair amount of surgeries in regard to my abdomen and uterus.
-3 DNC’s for miscarriage
-Uterine septum resection
-open laparotomy to remove right ovary and large dermoid cyst
-laparoscopy to remove right fallopian tube from bowels
-Cesarean section for birth
I have killer chronic pain which I believe is more adhesion related than endo related. I also experience pretty obvious endo pain, but the adhesions definitely feel distinct and my bowels are once again all fucked up. I have IBS-D and yet I can’t get my shit out. (Sorry, TMI) I’m scheduled for another laparoscopy at the end of May, but I want it to be my last. I’ve been reading about fascia release techniques, massage techniques and stretches etc. Does anyone in here have success with regular “upkeep” on your adhesions? If so can you recommend your favorite stretches/massages? Even links to massage tools like foam rollers, exercise balls etc. Whatever you use to help- I want to know. 🥲
I am also going to post this in the subreddit specifically for adhesions, but this sub is far more active.
Thanks everyone
Also, sorry if there’s major typos/grammatical errors in my post, I’m typing this feverishly fast before my baby wakes up from his nap.
