I was trying to find that transition zone latitudinally where the evening meal shifts from ‘dinner’ to ‘tea’, and found that Mansfield was that transition zone, but I don’t know if it’s different more towards the east.

Do you as a Grimbarian refer to the evening meal as tea or dinner? And also, do you refer to the 12 o’clock meal as dinner or lunch?

I know some of the Cornish language vocabulary had to be reconstructed because some of the words for some things weren’t documented, so they reconstructed those words using Breton or Welsh, but I know a lot was documented too, but I can’t seem to find the exact proportion.

We know the Bell-Beaker migrations into the British isles were huge, replacing around 90% of the population, but I can’t find out as to whether it was these migrations which brought in what would become the Celtic languages of the British isles.

If it was brought in then, it’d mean it would have to already have been recognisable as a Celtic language in 2450BC, since Gaulish would’ve evolved separately in mainland Europe, yet still related to the British Isles Celtic languages as ‘Celtic’. Unless Celtic language did develop in the British isles, then some of the British Isles population remigrated back to the France region and formed Gaulish, but that sounds unlikely.

If the Bell-Beakers that migrated into the British Isles didn’t speak a language already recognisable as Celtic, then that’d mean that Celtic language would very likely have to have been brought in later.

Do you believe the Bell-Beakers brought in what would become the Celtic languages of the British Isles, or do you believe a smaller, later migration brought it in?

This is a hot topic in Israel atm, with Yair Netanyahu and Ben Gvir both claiming the islands should be under Argentinian control, but I want to ask general Israelis what they think about this.

I want to see what vegans say to my point that I'm about to raise, and also l'll pose the question after you've read the whole point below of how/whether you believe buying whey is contributing to animal exploitation in the current market.

The point I want to bring up is that cheese can't be made without whey automatically being filtered out when cheese is made, regardless of whether the producers want whey to come out or not.

So when people buy whey, they're not contributing to more milk having to be produced from cows, since the milk is being used to make cheese, and whey just naturally comes out when cheese is made.
So isn't the demand for milk in that situation only coming from those buying cheese?

In some alternative universe where more people buy whey than cheese, and they were throwing away cheese because of how much whey is being sold, then l'd obviously say whey contributes to net-milk production and therefore animal exploitation because they'd be milking cows specifically for whey, but that's not the case in the real world, far more cheese is bought than whey, so they milk cows for cheese, then whey comes out and it then either gets wasted, or it can be bought.

So people who buy whey are basically just buying that which would've been thrown away when cheese is made, and the demand for cheese is coming from those who buy cheese.

So with that said, if whey is the only dairy one buys, how would you say they're still contributing to animal exploitation?

How would you answer this from your own personal perspective?

We’re not talking specifically about DNA percentages, as it’d be hard to quantity at what point someone is ‘white’ or ‘indigenous’ etc, so that’s why it’s gonna down to how you as an individual identify in this regard.

For example, someone may be 73% European (white) & 27% indigenous, but identify as white, but someone else may be 79% European (white) & 21% Indigenous, but identify as mestizo, so it all comes down to your individual self-identification.

Of course most Hondurans have Sub-Saharan African DNA, but if it’s only a small fraction, so you may still identify as Mestizo for example, and maybe Pardo if it’s a relatively large fraction of your DNA, but it all depends on the individual’s identification.
