A Gothorita outbreak popped up, so I went shiny hunting. While I was at it, I randomly ran into TWO shiny Espathra nearby! One of them was in absolutely perfect condition.

There is an old proverb in East Asia: "群鶏一鶴" (A crane among a flock of chickens), which means a distinguished individual shining among a crowd of ordinary people.
Usually, in these idioms, black or dark things represent the negative, while white things represent the positive.
But in this case, it’s the exact opposite—shiny Espathra has that gorgeous, sleek dark coloration.

Anyway, while Gothitelle is definitely elegant, I think Espathra is incredibly charming too. Plus, it performs amazingly well in the current competitive battle meta.
In the end, I failed to get the shiny Gothorita though, lol.
Shiny Gothorita is so notoriously hard to spot because only its eye color changes.

What are some Psychic-type Pokémon that you consider elegant?

I've been shiny hunting White-Striped Basculin, and it kept giving me NOTHING BUT FEMALES.
Seriously, is the 50/50 gender ratio even real?? I was convinced my game was bugged lol
But after 3 straight days of pure grinding, the 6th shiny finally rolled male!
