Not sure if the original poster is actually the creator or not. Their username doesn't match the name in the image and they didn't leave any comments on that post that might point any way, so I don't know if its a different person or they just changed their username. The reddit profile in general is extremely sparse, though they did upload 1 other CYOA by Savestate and they commented on that like they are an authority (but that could just be them giving their opinion) so idk. If anyone knows for certain, let me know.

I remember playing this super long ago, I think this was one of the first CYOAs I ever played.

The first image is v1.1, the second image is v1.0.

Found this in my folder, its pretty old (13 years doesn't feel like a long time but sadly it is). The v1.1 was just linked in the comments so I thought I should preserve it in case. The creator Gndn left reddit 11 years ago because reddit changed their content policy according to their last post, so their account was just sitting dormant and waiting to become lost.

Not sure who the creator is. I don't think its the poster of the older reddit post, nsfwstuff7, their only comment in the post sounds like someone who found the CYOA rather than someone who made it. But I'm not sure and may be wrong. The imgur post was made around the same time as the reddit post, dating to august 2017 while the reddit post is from 10 years ago. The imgur poster is duburu, but I don't know if they made it either since a lot of their uploads state them reuploading from somewhere else.

If anyone has any information, let me know and I'll update the body text and top comment. I can't modify the title after posting though because of reddits limitations, but I'll try and update the others to be as accurate as possible.

Comic I found first a piece of on pinterest, then tracked down to the source on blogspot, then reuploaded to multiple sites to preserve it from being lost. I couldn't find the original japanese version on Konbu's pixiv site so I was worried about this comic being lost if that blogspot account ever goes down (and their last post was in 2016 about moving to tumblr, which links to a dead tumblr account, so its a real possibility). I'll try and download and mirror the rest of the translated comics later. Mostly just posting this here for posterity so people can find the comic in case the blogspot page goes down.

Pretty sure its fine to reupload them since the blogspot poster isn't actually the creator of either the art or the translation. The blogspot bio says its fine to use their stuff as long as they're credited (its not their art but their reupload so idk its complicated).

EDIT: Just want to clarify, the original japanese comic is made by Konbu, which you can find at the konbu.gokujou links. The translations are done by Falneou17, but their website is dead. The blogspot page was a repost of the english translations, which allowed them to survive after the translation website went down.

Also the name of the comic on Konbu's website is どたばたデート which roughly translates to A Chaotic Date. I didn't realize that and I can't edit the posts title now but I will make sure to get the original names for his other works.

1st page is the original by nsfwstuff7. 2-6 are the fan-redux. No idea who created the fan-redux, the post was deleted and I only stumbled upon it when I googled the original. I'm reasonably certain alpha_wolf9389, the person who posted the redux to imgchest and thus saved it from being lost, isn't the creator as the imgchest post is from 1 year ago while the redux is from 2 years ago. I think its just a repost.

What was this big structure in Barnet Marine Park? Its just across from the old wood burner that has the plaque about the old sawmill town. Its not part of the old pier, its a decent distance away from it. I feel reasonably confident its remains from the old town, like the burner ahead of it. Looks like solid concrete so I'd guess some sort of support structure. But I can't tell from the shape, they're solid so its not housing for a furnace or something.

Does anyone know what this was? Or where I can learn more about it?

Managed to snag my Holy Grail today, Microblaze Creations Military Titan. I've been looking for him for years, but the only place I've seen him was on eBay for crazy prices. But last night I noticed someone on Facebook marketplace listed him the day before. So I messaged them right away to set up a pickup the next day. The price was shockingly good too, only 300$ CAD for the whole set, which is super reasonable. For comparison on eBay. For comparison the ones on eBay are 900$ and 1100$.

Figure looks super good. Only problems are the Swindle foot piece on the right pops off constantly and the Blastoff elbow keeps sliding out, but its minor. The Blastoff problem is an issue with the way the original combiner was made so it's not a problem with the kit. Wish the Swindle foot extender was engineered more securely, it's just a single peg on the toe. But in fairness the inner foot part is the important one since it supports the foot and that one is secure, the outer one is just decoration so it's not too stressed. The set is also super rickety and creaky, but that seems to be more the joint bots than Onslaught. Also scarily back heavy, you need it leaning a fair bit forward if his knees are bent since he doesn't have much ankle forward, but again that's due to the original figures.

Might eventually get the game-accurate coloured combaticons eventually, but they're really expensive second hand. Can't wait to make a display with some Planet X figures for the FoC display. Does anyone know any good blast effects for the flamethrower hand? I've never used them before but I imagine it'll look super cool.
