CyberCatch acquisition
Is this CyberCatch acquisition actually going to happen?? I say that because the deal is cash and CYBE is trading well under the $3.22usd price??

I think my 245 will be coming out of the drawer and my new 970 will be going back.
I just recently bought the 970 thankfully from Amazon so I’m still within the return window and am going to pick up the Cirqa as my primary wearable and will broadcast the HR to my trusty 245 Music for runs for GPS and workouts where I want to see HR display.
I’ve been wanting a screenless device and wanted to stay in the Garmin ecosystem so hopefully this will work well.
I don’t love the pin switching between bicep and wrist bands. They should have used their quick fit mechanism from the fenix series for easy switching. The smaller pins are definitely going to make 3rd party bands more difficult to produce.
Anyone else going to upgrade to a Cirqa and keep an older watch?
Long-time WW member here. Back in 2012 I did personal coaching — weekly phone calls with a WW leader (Leslie G.), one-on-one. It was genuinely the best accountability I've had for food and stress-eating, and I had real success with it. When they discontinued that program I drifted, and I've slowly put some, not all, of the weight back on since 2022 from bad habits creeping in.
Looking at coming back and trying to figure out which current plan actually gets me something close to that old experience. From what I can tell:
I've seen people say the virtual meetings are decent but "not the same" as the old personal coaching. Can anyone who actually did the old 1-on-1 phone coaching AND has tried Core+ or Med+ tell me how they compare? Specifically:
Appreciate any honest feedback, good or bad — trying to make a real decision here, not looking for a sales pitch.
First time cruisers here, doing the 12 night British Isles run on Celebrity Eclipse leaving Amsterdam Aug 2. Curious what everyone else on this cruise is most excited for, and any tips for first timers in general.
Specifically wondering about:
- Excursions worth booking vs skipping or doing outside of Celebrity
- Ports that surprised you either way
- Anything you wish you knew before your first cruise
- Onboard stuff worth doing on Celebrity
Would love to hear from anyone on this exact departure, but honestly any British Isles cruise advice is welcome too.
With a new quarter upon us and still no CIRQA announcement maybe this is when we will see its debut and that may tie into any features that are introduced being added to the current watches in the quarterly beta firmware updates.
Maybe I’m just being hopeful!!
Hey everyone I am new to Acutal and am loving the app and was a long time YNAB user. I have linked my accounts in SimpleFIN and I have attached a screenshot as you can see the balance is higher than the Starting Balance but in the account it isn't updating the balance.
I have the investment box checked for the investment accounts and my other accounts that are not investments are updating. For context the accounts are with Wealthsimple in Canada and Scotiabank and both have regular account and investment accounts.
I liked the idea of being able to just track balances all in one place but can't seem to get it to update.
I am still holding out for Garmin's screenless wearable if there is actually one!! I tried the Helio strap and liked it but didn't like two apps and ecosystems. I also wasn't ready to ditch my 265 for complete Amazfit.
I just wonder if Garmin is waiting and knowing that the CIRQA will be a niche product like the Sleep Index and isn't looking for new users but upselling Fenix and Forerunner users.
The reviews for the Fitbit Air from DCR, Des and Scientific guy are all very positive.
Any guesses on when Garmin will drop their screenless band?
My wife and I are first time cruisers sailing the 12 night British Isles itinerary on Celebrity Eclipse out of Amsterdam in August. Celebrating my 50th birthday on Day 7 in Liverpool.
We are deciding between a Guarantee Balcony or upgrading to Aqua Class for approximately $2,500 more. The main appeal of Aqua Class for us would be cabin selection since balcony GTY does not allow you to pick your room. The Blu restaurant and thermal suite are a bonus but with 10 of 12 days in port we are not sure we would get full value from those perks.
A few specific questions:
Has anyone done a GTY balcony on Eclipse and been happy with where they ended up? Any horror stories about location or obstructed views?
For a port-heavy British Isles itinerary with limited sea days, is Aqua Class worth the premium for first timers or would you put that $2,500 toward experiences ashore?
Any GTY upgrade fairy stories on Eclipse welcome too.
He ran the half in KC home of Garmin and was wearing this bicep device. I would imagine he was a guest of Garmin and would only wear Garmin devices. Could that be the Cirqa
