How can I become obsessed with studying? I truly need help—I have a make-or-break exam in four months.
I really want to study, but I keep procrastinating. Please help!
I really want to study, but I keep procrastinating. Please help!
Please, girls, I need your honest opinions.
My husband suggested inviting his friend over because his wife is currently back home and he is alone with his children. I said, “Of course, I’d be happy to invite him.” Then I suggested that we also invite another friend of his because, according to my husband, he is struggling financially. My husband said no, but that he would simply take him some of the food I prepared.
Then he told me that when his brother comes to Canada (he is currently going through Express Entry), he will come to our house every day to have dinner with us. I said, “But not every single day, right?” He didn’t say anything at first.
About 30 seconds later, he suddenly started screaming and hitting the steering wheel, telling me, “You have no goodness in you,” and calling me evil. He also started insulting my mother loudly and said things like, “This is my house, I invite whoever I want. If you don’t like it, go back to your parents’ house.”
Girls, is this normal? Am I wrong?
I’m newly married. Is it really reasonable to expect me to have two men coming over for dinner every single day, especially when my husband finishes work at 7 PM? That would mean I’d be preparing food and hosting people almost every day, and I would barely get any time alone with my husband.
I never said his brother wasn’t welcome. I only said that every day seems excessive to me.
Am I being selfish or unreasonable, or is my husband’s reaction completely disproportionate? I genuinely want honest opinions.
Hi everyone, I need advice because I feel lost.
I live with my partner, and lately I feel like I’m constantly trying not to make mistakes because I’m afraid of his reaction. When something small happens at home (for example, something breaks, I accidentally trigger the fire alarm, I make noise while cooking, or I lose something), he gets very angry, yells at me, and says hurtful things like “you are useless” or “I don’t understand how you are a doctor, you have nothing in your head.”
After these arguments, he sometimes apologizes, but the same behavior can happen again, even the same day.
I noticed that I started apologizing automatically, even for small things. Sometimes I say “I’m sorry” right away without even thinking, because I’m trying to avoid an argument or his reaction.
I avoid giving my opinion because I feel like I will always be blamed anyway.
I also want to say that my partner is a good person in many ways. He can be caring and he apologizes after arguments. I’m not trying to paint him as a bad person; I’m trying to understand why our conflicts happen this way and how we can improve our communication.
I want to know: has anyone experienced something similar? Did your partner change? How did you handle it? I’m looking for honest advice and experiences.
Please any news ? For those who passed nac osce on March 2026 ?
Hello everyone,
Has anyone here used the support, coaching, or study guides from De Filip Santose?
I’m a French-speaking doctor and I’ve decided to take my exams in English. Since English is not my first language, the preparation process feels quite challenging and different for me.
I’m looking for guidance and would appreciate hearing about your experiences. Was the support helpful? Do you have any recommendations for someone in my situation?
Thank you in advance for your help
Hi everyone, I submitted my identity verification on physiciansapply (passport, photo, and signature) about 20 days ago and it still says ‘pending verification’ with no updates. Is this normal? How long did your identity verification take? And am i supposed to do source verification at the same time ?
Please i’m so confused …
