How would you rate Tottenham’s transfers this summer?

I know Premier League teams have money, but they’re overpaying a lot. If the Savinho (£85m) and Gakpo (£70m) deals happen at those prices, I can’t imagine how much they’d be willing to pay for a player who’s actually in good form. Almost £100m for a player who was relegated two seasons in a row and doesn’t even play for his national team is absolutely demential.

Have you ever followed a club just because it tends to sign players from your country?

I would do it if that club existed. A friend follows Arsenal just because many Spanish players play there regularly.

Being complety unbiased, where would you like to see Gilberto Mora play?

I know Mexican players do not have the best reputation, but I see a lot of potential in him. I am not Mexican, btw.

I can understand Ferran Torres’ point of view, but he can definitely be annoying, and Barça fans have every right to be upset.

I can understand Ferran Torres’ point of view, but he can definitely be annoying, and Barça fans have every right to be upset. Scoring the winning goal in a World Cup final must be the dream of every footballer from the moment they start playing. You’re forever etched in the history of world football after that, no matter what you do for the rest of your career. Barça’s plan is nowhere near as good as PSG’s. Winning major European trophies is almost impossible with a broke club that doesn’t have enough elite players outside the first team.

Is tipping becoming a problem in your country?

I don’t tip, but I see some restaurants and bars expecting customers to tip for a service I already paid for.

Which players should Bayern Munich sign as backups for Luis Diaz and Olise?

I thought Gnabry would be sold and Zaragoza is not good enough. Saibari is a good option, but it can’t be the only option for Kane, Olise, and Musiala. I would like to see Leao or Chiesa who are not expensive and have experience.

Why did so few Premier League players perform well at the World Cup?

Other than Haaland, Rice, and Saliba, I don't think there was another Premier League player who had a really solid tournament. And many big names disappointed.

Does your country have cities with good bike infrastructure?

I just learned from a friend how good the bike infrastructure is in Bogotá, which is very interesting and helpful to know. In my city, bike infrastructure is somehow present in some areas but most of the city has poor access to it.

Other than football, Are other sports popular in your country?

Volleyball had its moment back in the 90’ but now it is less popular. Other than that, I don't think any other sport is popular; some people play baseball, but mostly Venezuelan migrants and their Peruvian friends.

Have you ever met Brazilians who would rather be identified by their ethnicity than their nationality?

The same way some people on the continent claim to be from the country of their ancestors. I know Brazil received a lot of immigration from all around the world, and this might be common there.

Other than pastries, what French dishes would you recommend trying?

I’m finally going to visit France (Marseille first, then Paris), and I want to try different kinds of food. I’ve already planned which museums to visit, booked my Airbnb, and made a list of other places I want to see, but I’m not familiar with French food beyond pastries and fries. I’m not picky at all, so what dishes would you recommend?

Does the French army/ weapons industry have a good reputation within French society?

Compared to other EU countries, it has the best equipment, the best arms seller, nuclear weapons, the foreign legion, and the best intelligence services. A stance that differs from what other European countries have been doing since the end of World War II.
