Hello, doctors! I’m a newly licensed MD, and I’ve recently started moonlighting at a small, 20-bed hospital in our province. It’s generally a benign post, averaging about 3 to 4 admissions a day.

Once rounds are done, the workload is quite manageable. The nurses have been kind enough to tell me that I can rest in the doctor’s quarters.

However, I can't shake this anxious feeling that I should constantly stay in the ER or the ward just in case, otherwise I might get scolded! Haha. Is this just post-clerkship and internship trauma or hangover, or should I really be staying by the bedside? Hindi ako mapakali sa dq huhu.
