This is one of the first and one of only few AMVs i ever made. At the time i had just finished watching Elfen Lied and had so much love and sympathy for the character Lucy and her tragic story that i had to dedicate this AMV to her.

I think "Let Go" by Red, which could be interpreted as fighting our inner demons, fits very well with Lucy's story as she fights both inner and outer "demons". Throughout the anime, she repeatedly manages to suppress her inner demons and free herself from the people who want to harm her. I tried to depict this fight in this video by choosing the clips based on the lyrics and music.

It's called "Tribute" because Lucy is one of my all-time favorite anime characters and her story moves me very much. That's why it was particularly important to me to do justice to her character and her arc with this AMV.

I already posted this video 4 months ago, but this here is a newer version. I watched it today and noticed some things (minor editing issues, scenes that didn't quite fit, etc.) that I couldn't ignore, so I completely reworked it.

When I watched this film, the stop-motion scenes reminded me of TOOL’s music videos, and I started editing a video for “Right in Two” in my head while watching the movie and started making it as soon as the movie was finished.

I am pretty happy with the result. I think these stop-motion scenes from "Mad God" as well as the message of this film, fit this song. It also captures pretty well what goes through my head when I listen to this it. Stuff like environmental pollution, industrialisation, people killing each other and war.

And sometimes, when I listen to it, I wonder … what would a world look like in which we lived together as one species, sharing this planet and its resources as fairly as possible so that as many people as possible can have a good life? And all of this with respect for this planet and all its inhabitants. This song is truly a masterpiece in terms of songwriting, instrumentation, and production, and I had a lot of fun making this video .

I haven't played SSX since i was a kid, but i still remember how it felt to play the "Untracked" course with this amazing song in the background. I made this loop for myself and maybe other people will like it, too :)

This song is one of my favorites from his album "Night melody". Slow and beautiful. His music means a lot to me and is tied to many good memories and people in my life.
