How does one achieve all of this?! I wish!

Hi all, I’m very interested in anaesthesia and coming in as an MS1. I am wanting to build a good application to stay at UBC. Any advice on what to do now? Is it hard to match into anaes and stay in BC?

Why do people have such a hard time accepting that eventually, women will likely dominate medicine?

Almost everyone I know applying is a woman, and year after year, more and more women get in. There are so many posts about the “gender gap” and maybe, just maybe, it’s because women are actually good at higher education and being physicians.

I know some people who just got in on their first cycle right out of undergrad and I’m really frustrated. How is it that they did that?
