So it's just a month ago, that I got my first PRS. It was the custom 24 20th anniversary in natural and it was beautiful, but I fell in love with a custom 24 30th anniversary in black cherry with flame maple neck and ebony fretboard. So the first one had to go again. Now I've seen the custom 24 experience 2013 for a good price and had to get it, cause it also has flame maple neck and ebony fretboard. So it's from 0 to 2 in just a month. I'm sad the first one had to go...
If you would have the possibility to get a Custom 24 (2014) 30th anniversary artist top black cherry, gaboon ebony fretboard with purfling, satin flame maple neck or a custom 24 (2021) ten top with satin flame maple neck and charcoal fade finish which one would you choose?
So,... this is a cross post from another community, cause I've been asked to.
My first PRS. It's a custom 24 20th anniversary, which I found on the Internet and had to buy, because I liked the unusual color and the Inlays. There's not much to find about it online. Just found out that the Inlays were limited to this 20th anniversary run.
I was looking around the Internet and pulled the trigger on this one. There isnt much information about it on the Internet. What do you think? I like the unusual color and the Inlays.
Im looking for a custom 24 semi-hollow and came across this one in the Internet. Is this normal for a 10 top?thx.
Ok, so here I am. I have this, in my eyes beautiful, pretty unique specs custom shop strat. It sounds really amazing, but... I have really small hands and my strat has a 60s style oval c neck shape and I feel more comfortable with a modern c, since it has no shoulders. The other thing is, that I prefer a Tele body, since my left hand wrist got crashed several years ago and the position of the neck to my body is different on a Tele than on a strat, which is more comfortable for me. I hope you can understand what I mean. I have no trouble, don't need the money right now, but I realized that I prefer my am. Std. Telecaster with modern c neck, although the strat sounds better.
- My strat has Abigail Ybarra Red Hot Pickups, signed Abby, which are dated 04-15-13, so just two weeks before she retired.
- red satin finish with AAA flame maple top, AAA flame maple neck and AAA rosewood fingerboard.
So... sell and buy a cs Tele? Impossible to find with modern c neck...
I already ordered a custom build Tele from Haar Guitars in the Netherlands.
Will I regret selling it? Should I just keep it in my collection?
