How often do you guys peel on Magik? I’ve had this struggle for a wild and I think it hinders me a lot in my GM games where I peel too much because my backline just gets ran over leading to the other teams support never getting pressured. Then I feel like when I actually try to focus in on going for supports my backline suffers for it even if I end up getting a kill on a support. I just struggle to balance both.
I noticed whenever I play jubilee lately I can never keep my team alive enough because the damage they take always outweights the heals I provide to them. Especially when other team are running high damage comps like thing Elsa Bucky Hela etc I just can never keep my team up always leaving me to wonder is it just me have I gotten worse? Because I didn’t have this issue with her in the first week she came out but now it just feels like my heals are just never enough to keep people alive with all the crazy poke damage going around. How do you guys deal with high damage comps? Because I find myself always getting discouraged when I can never keep anyone alive because my heals don’t feel good enough against poke so I just end up swapping 😕. Advice and tips would be greatly appreciated. I love jubilee a lot but I feel like I just can’t play her as much as I used to because my team is always taking too much damage in ranked.
Am I the only one who feels like the popularity of Magik increased by Triple the amount ever since they made her dash WAY too forgiving? Maybe im just old complaining Magik main who never really had issues at all hitting her dash before the change but I feel it actually raised the ceiling of the character. Now it feels like someone can hop right into her and hit dashes half the time. This might be a console thing too but I see a champion Magik every other game I thought our champion icon was rare 😭.
Who do you guys think got the best buffs out of the patch now that we’ve had time to test them all out
Rivals is the only game where “balanced” characters are considered shi because thats how broken most of the roster is. And i genuinely don’t see how you fix it because we all know Guang Guang ain’t hard nerfing these characters or actually “reworking” characters like Black widow. If they cared they would have done it by now if they actually cared. Same with gambit being in permaban jail for half a year. From what I’ve seen this is the loudest and most upset I’ve ever seen the community and I just ask myself why did they allow it to reach this point where the community is red hot volcano level. Just a lot of neglect by the devs and it has carried over each season to now reach the boiling point for everyone.
Correct me if I’m wrong but have we ever been number one win rate on BOTH console and Pc before? We are also top 7 in pick rate on both platforms for dps as well. This is the loudest I’ve seen in terms of Magik talk and how many times I’ve seen her getting banned from other players experiences. Im legit worried that it will get loud enough to where the devs are gonna do something about her.
I think it’s pretty funny that Psylocke basically has a better kit than us in every single way yet I always see Magik getting banned.
Am I the only one who is already thinking Cyclops will just be like Launch Phoenix Daredevil Black Cat Elsa? Specifically an Elsa or Phoenix 2.0 situation where they are just permabanned 24/7 or played 24/7 and the game will dictate who plays the broken character better? These devs have been on this constant wave of just releasing extremely game defining broken characters and it’s not healthy for the game at all. I don’t think anyone enjoys the matches of “oh man here goes another mirror match of a broken character and we are at the mercy of which one is better”. I barely see this problem talked about enough yet it has shown its face time and time again the powercreep is just getting out of hand and its not gonna stop with cyclops most likely being another mobile Poke character who will likely be game defining like the last few releases. And no you can’t just ban them all because 6 bans isn’t enough when double bans exist and it’s not only 6 characters who are worthy of a ban right now. The balance is just out of hand and they just don’t care at all about it and they rather just leave garbage characters like widow to die while releasing something like Black Cat every season.
So I’ve been trying to learn Psylocke and I got the basic combo down and her poke/dive type of style but one big thing. I’m never consistent at hitting these one shot combo on supports or just hitting consistent shots on them period with her shotgun spread. How do you guys consistently be hitting Luna and Cloak and Dagger? Especially Daggers hitbox. I tear through rocket Jeff ultron etc but the 3 sisters I can never hit consistent shots on them. Any tips would be helpful because I used to play Magik too but I feel Psylocke can push my potential higher with me being very confident in my game sense.
I legit don’t know how to play this character. Like I always heard that the orbs she shoot out do mega damage but I always have trouble making them big before the boss moves out the way. Is there some secret I’m missing to make it bigger faster? Also don’t know how her unique works at all either. Overall help me please lmao
So it’s been 5 days now and been doing aid request for atleast 4-5 hours a day and I still haven’t gotten one legendary fighter ring or Necklace. At this point I have no idea what to farm lmao. Can’t do extreme co-op either since I’m rank 123. Is this just normal rng or is the game just that much bs because 5 days straight and no legendary fighter ring or necklace is insane. I’ve gotten legendary rings and necklaces for every other role besides fighter 😭.
Maybe I just wasn’t using the right hulk combo to kill her faster but can white Fox actually beat us in a straight 1v1 in her melee form?! From what I dealt with my damage just got out healed by her own self healing while she was pumping damage into me with her melee? Someone tell me it was just a bad hulk moment for me or is white Fox actually that busted….?!
Is it just me or do I rarely ever see long range attack up on legendary and epic accessories? 90hours in so far and I literally only have 4 on my whole account in the spheres and I been saving since level 1 because I came into the game knowing to store a lot into effect spheres. Here I am at player rank 105 and still only have 4 in total. Is this just some rare attribute or am I just that unlucky?
Been struggling to gain xp since hitting player rank 85. Im currently rank 91. Is there any faster way to get better xp I just been doing the highest boss I can do right now which is World Tier 3. Is there any faster way to get player rank up besides the boss gauntlet since that isn’t even out right now? Really trying to buckle down on hitting atleast 130 or something to finally start making an actual build.
I’ve heard hulk can get ult faster than the supports but never knew the proper way to do it. I’m guessing just bubbling teammates and clapping to generate fast but I’m not exactly sure.
