I know its a bit long but plzz read the entire thing
About me & the confusion*
I’m a 24 year old guy, just finished my undergraduation, come from a Brahmin family that blindly supports BJP, and I’m genuinely looking for answers from both the left and the right community of this country. I’m genuinely confused. I’m not here to hurt any religious sentiment or push any political propaganda — just a guy who is in fear or anxiety on the future of our nation while we study, work hard for our future, and that very future is dark looking at the current situation. Read the whole thing and share your perspective on how to tackle such things. Is India really heading in the wrong direction under BJP rule? I’m asking the whole country this.
*Infra & policy fails*
We see things like a brand new flyover in a metro city suddenly narrowing into a single lane, causing massive jams. Then there’s the whole E20/E100 ethanol blending push by Nitin Gadkari — fuel prices aren’t dropping, mileage is worse, and older vehicles are getting damaged. Is collecting money through ethanol blending the only solution, or is there really no better way to handle this?
*Political parties — who to even support?
And the frustrating part is, as much as people are unhappy with BJP, many say Congress would be even worse. I’ve seen some Rahul Gandhi blabbering nonsense without a concrete plan, while on the other hand Modi keeps making promises but delivery feels questionable. Then there are people supporting AAP, the so called "cockroach janta party" as some call it, and others say it’s just AAP propaganda. I’m genuinely confused which party to even support anymore.
*Adani & zero accountability*
Then there’s Adani. I haven’t researched him deeply but everyone says BJP is backing him. Why? What’s the deal? And people who blame everything on Modi — fine, but what about accountability? There was a new bridge where locals literally stole the lights and damaged it. Another bridge collapsed within 2 weeks of inauguration. Can’t we just find out which contractor built it and actually punish them? There’s zero accountability. Make strict laws and hold someone responsible for once.
*Taxes & roads*
And toll tax — why am I paying toll when I already paid huge road tax while buying my car? Even if private companies build roads, why collect toll when national highways have massive potholes? Six months back I was doing 80 km/hr at night, couldn’t see a crater in the center of the NH because of high beams from opposite traffic. Almost wrecked my car. What are we paying for?
*UPI credit, Khan Sir & freebies culture*
People ask what Modi has done. I’ll give credit where it’s due — UPI was a massive upgrade and I genuinely appreciate it. But then there’s stuff like the recent Khan Sir controversy. The man built a hospital and gives healthcare at low cost. People are crying that he promised MRI for 25 rupees and now it’s 250. Come on, others charge 2500 for the same thing. Why do people support freebies though? Recent Tamil Nadu elections — 8 grams of gold given to married couples. Like our Prime Minister is shouting his lungs out telling us don’t buy gold, then why such schemes or situations? And the current CM of Tamil Nadu is the person who promised such things and I don’t know how will he fulfill such statements.
*Influencers & fake comparisons*
Then there are some Instagram influencers who genuinely confuse me. Some say that India has progressed so much, other reels stating that Indian rupee will reach 150. Full brain is confused. Then there are some people comparing India with Pakistan. Come on guys, if you compare yourself to a smaller guy or an entity we always have that false sense of victory. Compare India to China or Japan. Indians live in a false state of mind. We can’t compare ourselves to China — their import or export ratio, the manufacturing capabilities etc.
*India’s export-import ratio & future*
Someone explain the current export-import ratio of India and its future to me. We keep hearing “Make in India” but our trade deficit is still huge. We import massive amounts of crude oil, electronics, and gold, while our exports are mostly IT services, pharma, and some manufacturing. China is the world’s factory with insane export surplus. Japan built itself on tech exports. Where does India actually stand? Are we becoming a manufacturing hub or just a consumer market for the world? With rupee sliding and imports getting costlier, what’s the plan? If we don’t fix manufacturing and reduce dependence on imports, how will the future look for guys like us who are just entering the job market?
*Job market & broken law system*
How is the job market in India right now? I just graduated and it feels like unless you’re from IIT/IIM or have crazy connections, you’re stuck with 3 LPA jobs or unpaid internships. Government jobs have 10 lakh applicants for 1000 posts. Private sector wants 5 years experience for fresher roles. Startups are laying off people every month. Is this the “Amrit Kaal” we keep hearing about? And even the law system in India — there are so many lawyers present, still justice is delayed or not even served. Cases drag on for 20 years. Dates pe dates. Rich people get bail in one day, poor guy rots in jail for stealing bread. If the system can’t punish a contractor who built a bridge that collapsed in 2 weeks, what hope does a common man have? So many laws, so many courts, but where is the actual justice?
*Question to people who moved abroad
Question to people who are moving out of the country or already moved — how do you feel about it? How did you actually do it? Was it worth leaving family, friends, culture behind? Is there racism outside that you face daily? People say “US is heaven” or “Canada is better” but then I see videos of Indians getting attacked or treated like second-class citizens. Is it a good idea to move out of the country right now? Because staying here feels like we’re stuck with corruption, no jobs, bad roads, and endless politics. But is running away the solution? For those who left — do you regret it or do you feel free? Genuinely want to know the ground reality, not the Instagram version.
*Question to Hindus*
Then this whole Hindu angle — I get it, but it’s getting extreme. "Cow is our mother" is fine, but last month on a bike trip we kept running into cows sitting in the middle of highways where the speed limit is 120 km/hr. No street lights, sudden cow in front of you at night — who’s responsible if someone dies? And honestly, is Hinduism only on social media now? We see the slogans online, but on the ground there’s no fencing, no shelters, nothing to actually manage it. Question to Hindus — why are some temples so shabby if we take pride in it so much? Last year I visited the famous temple of Bhagavan Shirdi Sai Baba and I was disgusted at people spitting tobacco inside the mandir waiting line. Civic sense hai ki nahi?
*Question to Muslims*
Question to Muslims also — why do Muslims justify that Islam is a peaceful religion because wherever I see, all the terrorist attacks are carried out in the name of Islam. The recent Pahalgam attack for example. Then there is the point where all Muslims say that India is a secular country. Let me ask all Muslims — why does the Qur’an say that the people who don’t follow Islam are kafirs? Then there is another thing which I noticed: Muslims not saying Bharat Mata Ki Jai because it’s against Islam. Then how do you people think that Hindus will accept India is a secular country? Every other day we see new Islamic baba caught in conversion racket.
*So what now?
Are we stuck choosing the lesser evil? Are we actually developing or just getting played by all sides? Someone explain — is there any hope or are we just going in circles?

Hey everyone, I’m a 2024 BDS graduate. I gave my first NEET MDS attempt but didn’t take admission because I couldn’t get the specialty I wanted. I’m preparing for NEET MDS 2026 now, but I’m not sure if I’ll get a seat. Both my parents are doctors and my mom is a dentist, so I have some guidance at home. If I don’t get in this year, I’m thinking of doing a fellowship in Endodontics while studying for NEET 2027. Which fellowships might actually be worth it and help me clinically if I don’t crack MDS this time?
I completed 25000 questions from the pulp app is it enough for me to just qualify
