Could you please recommend such dramas?

I’m already looking forward for what’s next for the studio 🫨

To be honest, I’m a bit tired of people saying that RTE is not a dating simulator and the story is about Wu. I mean yes??? 😭 we know it??? 😭

However, both friendship and romance is a still a bit of a subplot in the game, so I think it is valid for players to feel connected to the available romance options, just like platonic allies.

Furthermore, in the intro of the sequel there was Li Tai’s voiceover I think or maybe a narrator, I don’t remember - after showing flashbacks of various romantic moments with both of the princes from the first part - saying the line “So who is going to be the winner?”

(However, as one commenter said, both Li Tai’s and Li Zhi’s paths are not about romance only)

In addition, Wu, in my eyes, is DEFINITELY capable of love, even though yes, she seeks freedom and independence first (as she should). She always cared for those around her (that also depends on the choices the player makes ofc but still).

And even in the game’s marketing one of the parts of the game that was advertised is having an opportunity to develop Wu’s relationship with either of the princes. Not that it should be a priority ofc, but still, it’s a bit of an aspect of the game

And also, in the description of the sequel they say:

“Are you the cool, versatile operator who balances power and passion—the "Deadly Arsenic Trioxide"? The loyal, ride-or-die romantic who charges headfirst through fire—the "Romantic Datura"? Or the ruthless high-achiever who lets nothing stand in the way of ambition—the "Overachiever Lurid Bolete"?”

Like whether Wu actually loves - whoever her romance option is - or not, depends on the player, since it is a videogame

I mean maybe I’m wrong but that is still how I feel

I’m playing through Li Zhi’s route and… I still love Li Tai as a romance option for Wu so much more/connect to him a lot more 💀 I’m currently playing through that moment where they meet in prison and um…. My heart breaks once again 🫠

During the moment where they talk about alternative life and we see some bits from his Another Life path - this is too much for me 😭 also why the heck in that sequence do we have a scene where they fight beside each other that we didn’t even get in the final product of Another life path 😭😭😭😭😭

The way I would have given everything to have a “complete” and more “fleshed out” route for him with a happy ending… 😭 If we had it, I would have probably replayed it for like 10000 times, that’s how much I love Yuantai pairing

Yao Chi’s acting is also incredible, he literally was born to play Li Tai

I’m definitely still disappointed with Li Tai’s route’s ending (the original script does make me feel better though, so I try not to think of the final product for his path, and also it makes me feel better to know that Li Tai and Wu’s actors personally supported Yuantai pairing as much as Yuanzhi)

But there are still so many cool things to appreciate about this game 🫠 I have never seen an FMV as good and high-quality as this one and as visually pleasing as this one

It also evokes so many feelings in me! And gives me some inspiration

I’m grateful for the game, even though yes there are some imperfections. But it’s still special to me

I’m currently playing through Li Zhi’s route and so far I’m enjoying it
