Refusal to be treated

I'm so freaking pissed off, ffs I told my rheumatologist about the hallucinations side effects of the HCQ and she quite literally told me that to be treated with other meds my symptoms need to be worse. Yeah sure let's just wait and see how much worse it can get before something is done.

I'm very lucky that my dermatologist spotted it and send me through so it's very early on in the disease. Seriously, why not make sure the disease stays stable instead of wanting it to run it's course until more damage has been done.

So I ended up just asking for plaquenil (brandname) which she reluctantly did bcs according to her the different manufacturer shouldn't matter

Rewatching an incurable case of love

I'm currently on a rewatch spree and decided to rewatch this one too. It's been some years since I watched it and I genuinely forgot how batshit crazy this series is, but in a good way. It definitely brings a smile to my face whenever she does something crazy and I honestly love how she cares so much about everyone.

I feel like my symptoms are getting worse

For a few years now I've always had that I'm tired, no matter how much I sleep, which was always expected to be bcs of my epilepsy. But for 2 years now it got bad, worse than it had been even if I barely slept that night (yes, bad idea). But recently I started to notice that if I've been out for a day I'm completely exhausted (beyond what I've ever been before) and can barely function the next day or when I do something as simple as cook that I'm even more tired than I'd usually be. This is just one of the things I've noticed, but it's definitely one that's been worrying the most, especially since it can be a trigger for epileptic seizures.

My mom has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease too so I see similarities earlier on, but she's had it for far longer, but sometimes it scares me to think one day I might end up the same like her.

I did try meds recently, but I quit those since it gave me hallucinations so I'm waiting to see what will happen at the next appointment

Epilepsy and autoimmune disorder

Sorry, it's quite a bit to read

So I've been diagnosed with sle or mctd (sorry, my doc is not too sure yet which one of the two but she's putting both of them on a temporary diagnosis, she's sure about the lupus part though).

But I have had epilepsy since my 13th (most likely genetic, it pretty much runs in the family), but a few years ago my seizures suddenly reappeared, I had been seizure free for ages and these past years they were really bad. But the thing is, most of my symptoms, that apparently were from autoimmune, had started around that same time but I just ignored them thinking they were from my meds (spoiler alert, they weren't, they still were there when I changed them).

But now I'm starting to wonder if my epilepsy could've worsened bcs of my autoimmune disease, since my neurologist isn't completely sure why it's flaring up again this suddenly. I did read some articles online but they all seem to point towards an autoimmune epilepsy which I don't think is the case since I already had the diagnosis ages ago. Does anyone perchance know something about it, or can give me some advice?

Empty lot, what went wrong?

Recently I got the nursery building and added it to the world. It's a nice building, but when I went there with my sim and his kid it was completely empty and all throughout the time he was there no other sim ever spawned there.

Yes, I know about the mod, but I'm wondering if I did something wrong with the settings of the building

Exclusion is hell

Somehow I feel less worthy than other people around me. I actually haven't felt like this before, I'm 28 and have been living with epilepsy since my 13th, I've experienced losing friendships bcs of it and being excluded from plans with friends, but my family (cousins) always had my back. Now though I feel like I'm a problem to them and I don't even know what I did wrong for them to act like that. I mean 1 of them at least I can still talk with and they actually understand me but she's the only one. But for the others it starts exactly like it did with my friends, they're excluding me from things I'd love to have gone to. Babyshowers are suddenly an event to which I could form a threat (to their fun). I had to find out through social media and a bd party that 2 of them happened without so much as a question if I'd want to join in. And it actually hurts more bcs I know I'll never be able to get pregnant bcs it would simply be too dangerous for the kid and myself, and I've wanted kids for a very big part of my life.

I know this isn't my fault, but I can't help but think that it is. Like it must've been something I did or said that lead to it. Somehow this feels worse than losing friends, it feels like I'm being backstabbed.

And today at that bd party the questions they asked felt like they literally had no clue how deep the constant fear of having seizures actually runs, actually not even them doctors have no clue at all either. The constant fear of "but what if I'll have a seizure today" just bcs it doesn't feel real that I could have been seizure free for that long.

Most of all I'd just like to ask them what I did wrong, but I know I can't and won't, instead it feels like I sold my soul to the devil for simply pretending I'm not hurt by their actions and not bringing up what I want to ask them the most. But even after all of this, I'm not a person who wishes hell upon them, just bcs I know what hell feels like with being chronically ill.

ABO desires comeback????

I've no clue where this is from so I'm wondering if anyone else knows. I thought it was ai at first since more ai videos of them have been surfacing, but someone in the comments said it was from a commercial (although I hadn't heard about it though)

How can I sell my products?

I recently started a new save where I made the sim a professional gardener (grandpa's old farm). My plan was to sell jams and preserve at the farmers market, but upon coming there I noticed that even if you tend a stand (and people sell from you) its not from your own inventory (nor can you add things to the stand). I know i can sell fruits & greens at the supermarket so if nothing else works I could do that

Are there places to discuss shows together?

Like the title, i wonder if like with kdramas (etc) there are places to discuss episodes from the dramas together. I've never really discovered them although I've been searching, but maybe in the wrong places. I'd be very thankful for anyones help

What store content is worth getting?

I've been looking through all the store content to look for some new things to add to my game, but I'm wondering which items would be worth it. I do already have some things already that I bought in the past.

Some time ago an announcement came for the series because its all for you. At that time it was advertised as a bl or at least an lgbtq+ series. But i was just looking into watching it and there's no clue of anything lgbtq+ in the description, on mdl there isnt even one tag that leads to this conclusion. So I wonder if anyone knows if it actually is or if its just a regular crime series with 2 male in the lead
