I’ve been building a web + mobile app for the Nepali market with a partner. Over the past few months, I’ve put in a lot of effort adding features, refining the product, and completing 14 days of testing on Android. We’re now very close to launch (Android + iOS).

The issue is that my partner hasn’t been able to give this project enough time. He’s also working on another product and has been inconsistent delayed replies, missed work, and overall low involvement.

Everything related to the app has been done by me. He’s mainly handling the web side, but recently there hasn’t been much visible progress very few new features, no proper testing, and little to no refinement. I haven’t really seen concrete results from his side lately.

To be fair, I don’t think it’s entirely his fault. He does try, but realistically he can’t manage time for both projects. Meanwhile, I’ve already invested a lot of time and energy into making this product solid, and I don’t want it to fail or stall at this stage.

Another concern is that the Google Play Console and App Store Connect accounts are in his name. I do have full access and can upload builds, but technically he still controls the accounts.

So I’m in a dilemma what should I do? Should I continue like this and move toward launch, or is there a better approach?

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Hi everyone I am a 24M developer who recently lost my job after the company I worked for (an Australian startup) had to shut things down due to financial issues. I have around 2 and half years of experience as a full stack developer working with the MERN stack.

Right now instead of jumping straight back into another job, I am interested in building something of my own. I’d love to connect with people who have experience in any field tech, design, marketing, business, or anything else and who might also be open to brainstorming ideas or collaborating on a small startup or project.
