Why do we expect something we don't do ourselves...

Coming from a guy

I've seen alot of people setting expectations about choosing their partners their deal breakers their preferences etc.

There's nothing wrong with setting expectations but these things are something that should be realistic 😭 and something u do for yourself...

An example is a fit guy expecting a fit woman

A well educated guy expecting a well educated woman

In Pakistan it's the other way around😭

You yourself are not young and expecting a young woman

You yourself are married before and expecting a woman who hasn't ever been married yet...

What I mean to say here if we try to set our expectations realistically problems will be reduced.

How to respectfully say no to a female

Okay just for context

I'm 20M , so there's this girl who I met in my Alevls it's been 2+ years we've been amazing friends. We've always had a very perfect respectful and friendly bond

But I never knew she actually had feelings....

She told me recently and I was surprised I always thought it's the kindness and friendly tone but it never was.

The thing is I'm young uncertain and emotionally not in a stage to commit to her because I don't wanna commit to something which I cannot actually give my 100%. Ik she likes me but I've got my goals and mindset and I don't see myself fit for being committed at this age.

So this question is for any female or even an older male how can I respectfully set boundaries without breaking her heart and making it rude..

Thought it's sensitive as her feelings are involved so need advice...

Normalize taking rejections

This post is for all my guys

As a man i know we all like someone in our life.

Now our proposing to them is just something we did for *ourselves* their accepting it is 100% their choice

Just for the sake of rejection due to whatsoever reason

It's important to accept it and move on guys.

A woman rejecting you doesn't always mean there is something bad with u as a man or u failed as a man...

Trust me there are many things going on in their lives aswell (if u put yourself in their place and think).

I've seen alot of guys making it an "Ego Issue" and start ruining their and someone else's life just for one rejection...

Let's normalize taking rejections being chill with them and moving on.

Thankyou ✨
