In your opinion what was the worst episode of the series?

I’ll start Tale of two Tom’s everyone of the four mains acted badly to one another. Tom treated his friends like objects like he owned them instead of talking to them bout feeling left out. Kaz despite being RL friends with Tom never seemed to notice Tom was constantly being left out. Sarah and Peyton despite being the more caring members of the group never seemed to care that Tom feeling left out. Tom being the one left out Tom is treated like the bad guy stead of his friends who kept ditching him. With the ‘villain’ of the episode Tom2 being flat saying he’ll steal Tom’s friends.

Idea for perk/motive Jailbox

Basically as soon as the killer kills someone they chose one person to be removed for the game until the trial is over. If the killer wins that person escapes with them but if the killer loses the person they chose will get a choice to let the killer be or not be executed. On paper anyways unbeknowst to the killer the mastermind is trying to bribe the person who the killer chose (that way they aren't entirely gone from the chapter and can cut to them at the end of the investigation and part way through trials) to pick the execution option.

It won't be many like 2-3 well thought bribes like making sure the love one are safe, information on the mastermind or the right to be able to leave. Though how much the mastermind plans to follow through with them is up to how cruel the mastermind is. Like yes you'll escape the killing game you to just have to survive sort of deal.

This leads to the killer having to plan on who they chose.

  1. Do they pick the sympathetic character who will be more open to letting the killer live?
  2. Will they pick the protag/ detective who have shown themselves in trial and could maybe figure out the murder?
  3. Do they pick someone close to them and wants to help that person escape?
  4. If they make a mistake do they pick the person who could possibly lead to them?
  5. Do they get an accomplice for the murder and hope they don't backstab them if they lose the trial?
  6. Do they pick themeslves so they don't screw up during investigation and trial? (This option is the worst for the killer as the mastermind does not like cheater and the killer's option will be execution or executed painfully)

After the trial the person picked will get a simple prompt.

X has been murdered Execute killer Y/N

They don't who killed or why they did it all they will know is the victim.

Inspired losely what happened to Nekomaru in chapter 3 of DR2. Could be a motive by it's own though I know it doens't have the same bite so why put perk as well.

[LES] Stories where the MC takes over being the protagonist of someone else's story irk me.

This is mainly pointed at isekai though yes it happens in alot of storie though this isn't bout the Mc showing up and entering an existing conflict he has no stakes in and saving the day. What I'm talking bout is when the Mc is reinarnated as a character from an in universe piece of media a book or game in most cases. Usually as the villain or side character and basically just becomes the protagonist of the original story kicking the original out and using their knowledge of future events to get everything the protagonist would of gotten(love interests and powers) yet avoid the pitfalls of the orginal work thanks to them knowing the future.

Yes he's the MC but if you're just going to have them follow the same path as the protagonist of the story just reincarnated them as the protagonist! This doesn't even mention how for some reason the protagonist of the orginal story will become a massive jerk ether because another reincarnator reincarnated into them or it just happens off screen for no good reason. Which honestly just seems disrespectful to whatever story the Mc was sent to.

[LES] Extra content should not need to interact with different sources to understand a character or their relationship.

Put it simply if a character or their relationship is not clear enough that extra content is needed or the author has to go out of their to explain something on social media then that story has failed to convey that character properly. Yes it's up to the consumer to understand but there's a difference between not understanding and there being nothing to read.

Yes indie animation is the low hanging fruit with having to look at the creator's twitter or tumbler. To get info on certain characters but it's not the only example other media does it to.

Final Fantasy 15 with it's numerous dlcs or tie in material that fleshes out or outright explain some character's story/ relationships. Like the main character Noctis and Lunafreya his love interest. In game barely an hour screen time yet if you want to gett the full picture better read novel and watch an entire movie. Extra material should only be used to enhance not be required.

Most adaptations. Yes you can't have one to one adaptation it's nearly impossible but I am watching something I should not need to read the original to understand everything. If the adaptation has failed to convey something bout a character/ relationship cause it cut out important scenes then it's on the creators of the show/movie to chose what to cut out not the audience.

Now this isn't saying all of it's on the creator it's still 90-95% on the concusmer but for the at last bit is all on the creator to properly convey characters and their stories

Just personal opion but like robbing an open kan I think roning on the oppent doing a richi should give you something extra. To clarify i mean the till someone uses to richi which could ether be the inital tile or the next tile placed by the player pending on if it the first one gets called. I see this as a way to make up for lack of 1000 points you get for stopping the richi in it's tracks. or a bonus if the person gets unlucky and drops a winning tile after you called.
