Is 30fps really that bad or is it just my TV?

So I’ve been a PC gamer for like 12 years so I’m very used to at least 60fps. I just got the ps5 pro, mainly for GTA 6, but I plan to play a ton of story games before that comes out.

My TV is a little older but 4K 60hz w/ HDR. I have tried both the newest Uncharted games and Cyberpunk on 30fps and it’s basically unplayable for me. It’s extremely laggy and there seems to be some sort of ghosting or something (idk if that’s the right word). Switching back to the 60fps modes feels like a different planet.. At first I did have some issues with screen tearing on Uncharted 4 w/ 30fps, but I was able to fix that by turning off some settings on my TV. So now I’m wondering if the horrible 30 fps experience is because of my TV or if it’s like that for everyone!

Edit: I should also add that putting motion blur to max on Uncharted seems to fix it.. Should I just always play with motion blur on 30fps?

Flickering on PS5 pro

So I just got the PS5 pro and decided to start off by playing through the whole Uncharted series. I started the Legacy of thieves Collection today I get a lot of tearing/ «glitching», especially at the edges of the screen when I play at fidelity 4K 30fps. My tv doesn’t have VRR unfortunately. I don’t get the same flickering when I play performance mode. I have turned off 120hz in the PlayStation settings as well. Anyone got a solution?
