This comes from a very important discussion with a friend of mine. I am choosing not to say my opinion.

I can't really tell what this could be for me but I am curious to hear yours!

Soon's the World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the US. Personally, I don't know how to feel about it. Are you going to watch it? Which country do you think could win? Seriously intrigued to hear what you guys think about it.

Currently, I am translating Minecraft into a regional language ("Oostfräisk Plat" or East Frisian Low Saxon, if someone's curious). You do this by creating a ressource pack. Minecraft Version 26.1.2, also tested on 1.20.1. The setting change itself is successful.

My problem are the "composed options". For example, there is the option "Clouds". In English this will show up as "Clouds: Fancy", "Clouds: Fast" or "Clouds: OFF". It changes when clicking on it. Another example are settings that can be either "ON" or "OFF".

As seen in the GIFs, for EFLS, this is "Wulken", which is to show up as "Wulken: Mooj", "Wulken: Uut", or "Wulken: Up 'n eefkes".

When activating the pack, these composed options are not shown. There is just "Wulken" for example, no matter how often you click it. HOWEVER, with Sodium installed (this mod changes the appearance of the graphic settings), it works, only for the graphic settings.

I have spent a couple hours trying to fix this, perhaps I am missing something. Maybe someone here knows what the problem is, or maybe... is it just not... possible?
