Should I take on a technician job if I can’t find anything?

I graduated two months ago from an ABET accredited school and got my EE degree (U.S. btw). I’ve been applying before graduation and even more so now. But I’m literally getting rejected over and over again from entry level roles.

I had an interview an hour ago and it was a technicians job. Not something I want I’ll be honest. But maybe I can get a design role in that company later?

I’m in no debt, so there’s no rush. But I don’t want the months to fly by like these past two have.

Any advice? Should I keep applying?

What does writing down our goals actually do?

Bear with me because I'm new to all this and it's my first post. I always had this question and never had it answered but I hear about it a lot.

When I was in college, I'd write down in my planner some key things I will achieve for the week, for the month, and in general. Most of those became true.

Why is that? Is there some sort of connection to manifestation? I'd love to hear if anyone has and thoughts on this. Thank you!

Do Paul McGrath leather covers go well with any A5 paper?

I feel like this company as well as Paper Republic have this business model where only their own papers work with their notebook covers. I'm new to journaling so right now I'm just looking around for what I'd like. So far, I like the look of Paul McGrath leather covers and from what I'm reading, they seem to be better quality compared to PR.

But yeah, would any paper I find work with Paul McGraths leather covers?

Thanks!

[ALL] Which Zelda game other than BOTW has that relationship between Link and Zelda?

BOTW is a game I just finished and I'm new to the Legend of Zelda games. What I loved so much about the game was the relationship between Zelda and Link. I was wondering if there are any other games that have them together more romantically? I guess it's the whole knight saves princess story line that I am looking for and BOTW did that quite well, given what a journey that game was.

Let me know! I was thinking about playing Ocarina of Time on my 3DS. But, if the other Zelda games don't quite offer what I'm looking for then I'll just stop at BOTW tbh.

What changes should I make to this?

I bought this GBC about 13 years ago when I really wanted to play Pokemon Blue. I was thinking about doing a shell replacement with this shell and then adding a glass lens I found on amazon. After that, I can buy a few games for cheap and solder batteries if needed.

Would that be a good decision? Or should I just bite the bullet and get a $100 mod kit for the same kiwi lime shell but with an AMOLED display? The only reason i prefer not to do that is battery life.

This is something I want to give to my kids in the future. And I don’t want to do the whole ROM stuff with a bunch of games because I feel like it gets overwhelming to the point where I don’t even want to play the games (maybe that’s just me).

I’m not a huge Nintendo gamer but I do like this gameboy I have.

Thoughts?

[0 YoE] Recent Electrical Engineering Graduate. I'm applying every day but getting nothing

I would greatly appreciate any advice I can get. Seriously. It's been exactly a month since my graduation and I've been applying through Linkedin (or through news letters) like a mad man.

For some background: I just graduated with a BS in electrical engineering. Biggest problem with my application is that I don't have any internship experience. I promise, I tried my best to get one, I just could not. I probably wasn't on top of things like others were but I just had a lot on going on.

Now, I am doing my best to apply to as many job listings as possible and I'm doing so primarily though Linkedin. Though, I don't really know if I'm applying correctly. What I mean by that is this: I find a job that I think I qualify for, I hit apply, I fill out the same questions over and over again (are you a veteran, do you have a disability, what's your race / gender, etc). Then, I hit apply and move onto the next one.

Now, here's what I'd like to know. Am I applying properly? What could I fix on my resume? I scanned it through my schools AI resume check and I got the highest rating as well. I just don't know how to go about doing this anymore.

Anyways, I appreciate the help!!!

Where can I meet people who are my age? Everyone here is old

I’m in Farmington. I don’t always have a car but when I do I go to the gym. Apart from applying for jobs and going to the gym, I’m so lonely. How do I make friends my age? (24 btw and I don’t drink)

Should I get a barista job until I find an engineering job?

I just graduated a week and a half ago. Since then, I wake up, and I send applications out non-stop.

For now, I was thinking of getting a barista job at my local coffee shop while I look for an electrical engineering job. I really need money, ngl. I have 0 debt thankfully but yeah.

How do I meet people here

I’m 23, about to turn 24. I’m starting fresh, looking for a job here, etc. currently living with family.

But it’s like…dead here. Nothing goes on and everyone’s old (no offense). I’m in Farmington, to clarify.

Any advice???
